shashikumar...this is written in turkish,but i dont think that there is an english version of this.in turkey it is said that this phone is going to be released at mid of september!!! i havent decided whether i should buy W800i or D600.i think this looks better than W800i but the camera of w800i is much better.is there any possibility of this phone having an AUTOFOCUS and macromode???

I don't suggest that everyone blindly buys Samsung. In fact I've never owned a Samsung, all my phones have been Nokia, thus I know the build quality of Nokia phones, and what their customer service is like. The basic fact that I've had such experience that I've had with Nokia in recent years has put me off them completely.
However I don't see the point in waiting months for a phone, then just prior to it's release going off and buying an inferior phone. But then again it's up to the individual if they want to do this. I would recommend anyone considering that to at least check out phones with a similar screen (eg. Sharp 240x320 screens) to get a 'preview' as to the quality of the D600 screen as it is far superior to the 176x220 screens.
Congratulations to Samsung if they are maximising their profit, I don't abuse them for that because they exist to make money for their owners, not to perform some kind of public service to you and me!

I don't think it will have such a crap battery, the phone has too many features to run off a battery like that... remember it does say.. "Disclaimer. We can not guarantee that the information on this page is 100% correct." so don't worry, it might not have this battery, i hope

Bob, you obviously love samsung a lot more than us. However, do you not understand that samsung are making you and us wait, just because they'd rather try and take our money by us settling for an older samsung, then when the d600 comes out, we'll want that, and end up getting it. I love samsung phones as much as you, but I can see what samsung are doing, and it puts me off and many others off wanting to wait for this phone, so there's no need in arguing against us. As you can see, I will want this phone if i settle for something else, but you can't argue against the fact that samsung are trying to get as much cash out of us as they can, so please stop being all bitchy everytime somebody says something about wanting another model.

Nokia? Well compare your "new" (old technolody and made in China) Nokia with a D600 when it's available in a few weeks. Let us know how happy you are with your decision.

I am not sure if this phone is worth while waiting for.... if all it appears to be is a marketing strategy for samsung to make sure they get as many sales off the d500. I was a proud owner of the d500..... till it got stolen and have patiently awaited the release of the d600 so much that I am ticked off and am taking my business to nokia

Rite...i seem to completely be in love with this phone!! But..what is it missing because it was lower voting results than the d500 and i think this one looks so much better! the d500 was a little to chunky for my liking so i stuck with my e800 even though the features compared to the others are crap. Someone help me out please!! Thanks

Hi!
I'd be interested whether D600 will have Live menu or not at Vodafone.
It would be much better, if they used the original menu. It is much more beautiful.

I'm strugling right now... I have the money for D600.. I've saved up since April..
But it's so hard to keep those money without spending any. I looked forward to buy SE w800i but then the screen resolution :(
I thought of Nokia N90 but too big.. and wth no vibration????? so again I'm still waiting but now this film camera called Nikon FM2 came into my heard and I just want to buy it!!! hurry up Samsung before I spend my money!!!!!!!

I'm so desperate for this phone to come out now. I cancelled my contract for August to start a new one with this phone. My contract ends tomorrow, and now i'm having to look at other phones. Samsung are just bein stupid holding the release of this cos the D500 sales are good. I mean who wants the D500 anymore, they are gonna have more sales and make more cash if they release this now, i'm sure i'm not the only one who is sick of waiting and is having to look at another phone, even though I really, really don't want to

Does anyone know if the D600 comes with stronger internal al? I currently have the D500 in a rurual area. I'd hoped to find the reception better but it's not any better in a rural area. Id their any firmware or anything that adds 850 mz.
