      About the micro SD card "OFFICIAL EMAIL FROM SAMSUNG:With D900 the maximum SD card which samsung suggests is 512 mb, anything beyond that may or may not work and may affect the performance of the phone. But for anything upto 512 mb we can assure you proper functioning of phone and card

            To Hidden Bits. If you are on Vodafone and wnat to delete "vodafone" from your Home screen, then provided you are in "Normal" Wallpaper, go MENU 9 - 3 - 3 and change Text Position to OFF and Save. Much better !

                MEL;
                if you don't like the black, there is a white skin also at menu..settings..display settings..skin. Themes can't be downloaded, but if you are willing to sacrifice the theme wallpaper, a few more options are there. Go to display settings..wallpaper and change theme to NORMAL.Scroll down and choose wall paper of your choice. Then select 'Menu background' and set the desired TRANSPARENCY level.
                You can set any photo as wallpaper and it will be in the menu background also. Tried the 'random wallpaper' in the list? Enjoy.

                            No way to make save &send, the default. The easiest way is to press 'options' and then '2'.

                              to rajesh ,,,all my qcif vids blow up full screen wen i press 1 as they swing round 90 degrees and wat you might of thought that in just normal mode they would be only occupying 176 pixels x 144 pixels which is true.The sandisk is one of the biggest godsends for me as you just pop in a card set your parameters and record ,,out goes hours convertion etc,,"HOWEVER",,their are several pre-installed fones in the menu which you just select but crucially under manual set their is ipod setting and psp and tv and pc format plus a plethora of manual settings all good but now ithink i shud experiment a lot more...
                              Qvga at 30 fps in mp4 runs a treat on the d900 and i aked my fave magazines that if possible in future they could add a new spec in which they say wat the fone records at and wat vid its capable of playing, for e.g.
                              My virgin lobster records qcif at 8fps but can play back qvga in mp4 and avi files using smartmovie
                              The players in sony ericsson fones i.e. my z710i can play qvga .3gp up to 30 fps with ease and it can play this from recordings taken from my s/e w900i to prove this yet it only records qcif ar 15fps.
                              Most persons may not bother but its just another twist in wat you can do with some fones and i would be personelly be interested as a love vids taken with mobiles and its another medium to pass time on journeys..and samsung introduced me to this with the d600 with good cif mpeg4 15fps vid recordings you could then take home and play them full screen on a tv (full screen on normal def tv).Altho its never broadcast quality it a very good effort some of these fones achieve and very watchable.

                                      h.b;
                                      QCIF video will be too small for D900-even if in full screen and even CIF is not recomended-QVGA is the best. but how comes a QVGA video occupying only a portion of the QVGA display? I've been downloading many QVGA videos from different sources and they occupy the whole screen(in full screen mode). The only theory is something wrong with your sandisk recorder. And why 30fps? Even 25 is too much(isn't it?)
                                      Sometimes you may notice that a small margin of the display is left unoccupied in full screen mode, while playing QVGA video. This can be solved if you convert videos to ipod format using a good converter with aspect ratio 4/3. Then the video really FILLS the screen.
                                      FDN stands for Fixed Dialling Number(s). This is a feature provided by the operator. Once this is activated you can call or message to certain fixed numbers only.(prevents unauthorised use of the phone)There will be a pin code for the feature and all the FDN numbers must be in the SIM itself.
