JOHN, In FDN- Fixed number dialling mode-calls can be made to selected numbers only. This should be activated by your operator. No single password for menu or my files.

i also want to know wat FDN is or stands for..??
Ive just been doing some recording with the sandisk v-mate video recorder (had it 3months)as it was said on a review site that its best not to record at cif 15 frames per second but qvga at 30 fps as its smoother on the d900 which ive just done and yes its smoother but it only takes up the middle of ths screen??? (sandisk does not have cif as an option anyway its was chat about video covertion)..I usually set it too qcif MP4 15 fps and get a good result and use less memory plus when you press 1 it does fill whole screen so why recording at the actual screen size of d900 (qvga) produces a letterbox format is beyond me,,,Any theories ???
Was looking at u600 but have decided to keep d900 as it offers not much more than d900 in some respects altho its supposidly got a better set of options and thinner but sadly battery time is reduced so d900 it is..
This is nothing to do with this thread but some proper buisness sites are stating that apple are having trouble with the i-phone and is proving harder to do what apple want within the specified release date,,i still do not want apple to fail tho even tho im not interested in buying it..As having owned about 18 smartfones(mainly symbian)if tiger runs like a dream it will stuff symbian into the ground.People like me are sick to the back teeth of bugs that persist within symbian fones even tho we still buy and put up with it but for now the d900 has all i need from a fone so thats that.

what can i do to sand an email with my D900 phone.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You could get a Black and Decker mouse sander (they work terrific).

Get the lightest sand paper 800 and sand the email.

well pennymac61, the keypad tone Question is always being asked here but i will answer it anyway. You press the side button (to the left of your phone) and put it down to 0 and there you have it, no keypad tones anymore!

RAJESH, do you know what FDN mode in security settings is ?, Also, is there a way of locking the phone and then entering a password only once in order to access all features, very painful having to enter it over and over again. Cheers

JOHN, And tv-out is 9th in mine. crap. why do they make so many versions of a single model? The calendar function may be avoided to accomodate the so called orange tool bar.

JOHN; When you SAVE the changes you'll come back to display settings menu. The 7th item in DISPLAY SETTINGS in my phone is calendar(menu 9-3-7) and it will be active only in NORMAL wallpaper.

To Hidden Bits, if you go to create message > options, you can set font size to small, medium or large but reverts back to medium for every new message, cheers

It is only logical that the phone must be open in order for the other party to hear you, samsung should have exposed the microphone on both sides in order to use it in the closed position. Does anyone know how to set the text messaging font size to small permanently ?, such a bind having to change it everytime you want to type an sms, thanks

Did anyone notice that the mobile should be flipped up in order for the micro phone to better function.

When my phone is flipped down I face alot of problems with people not hearing my voice so well.

                                        Any suggestions ?
                                        Is it only me ?

                                        Regards
