Thanks for that Dad. Useful advice as usual.
And Tommy - well it wouldnt surprise me if you can put more than a 512 inside of it. I was 'papraphrasing' so to speak from the D900 website. But its so full of mistakes (and apparently only went live today) that i should imagine the stated 512mb limit is also wrong too...

wew, i think in this camera's quality, i have to admit that nokia is the best among these three, but suprisingly SE K800 is the worst in this case, even compare with samsung one.I expect that k800i will be the next represtatives of a true 3,2MP Cameraphone, but infact it isnt.SE just stick the brand cybershot on their phone without improve it.Sorry for SE lovers

Can anyone else confirm the 512mb microSD card size limit on this phone? I am considering the phone but that point may be a deal breaker for me... I've gotta have sufficient storage.

pY}9, nothing dodgy about the website, spelling mistakes are everywhere over the internet, the info was published today, perhaps didn't correct it just yet.
There are many websites in UK, which quote 6.5 hours one of them is Orange.

No you have 60mb to yourself. Nothing else takes up any space on the memory card cos otherwise the file manager would show it. And it doesnt.
So you get 60mb of onboard memory; Samsung are wrong. And their spelling and grammer is about as bad as an American's.

The phone actually comes with 80mb onboard memory, with 10mb used for the default stuff, so you have 70mb to yourself =D. Just got the phone 3 days ago and i'm loving it.

Well, "allegedly".
Just make sure the battery is properly charged - that is when the battery symbol is a solid block without any of it flashing.
Also, you CAN synchronise this thing with Outlook, etc.
AND, for those wanting to put a 2GB micro SD inside of this thing you are unfortunately sh*t outta luck - the maximum card that the D900 recognises is 512mb.
Perhaps im taking photos in the wrong way, but trying with different ISO/focus/exposure, NONE of my photos came out 100% sharp - all were to some extent blurry.
Just my argument again though - if you want decent photos, DONT rely on a mobile cos thats retarded. Buy a decent digicam instead..
ALSO, that link to the official D900 is dodge. There is some glaring mistakes on it which makes me think the talk time of 6.5 hours is a bit suspect.
They claim the phone has 70mb of onboard mem - it only has 60mb. This along with the serious spelling and grammer mistakes (it's a 'professional' company!), make me think they may have f*cked up with the specs as well. 6.5 hours talk time does seem a bit generous..
And yes, you can only record a maximum of an hours video if it bothers you that much (geeks). A better idea might be something called a digital camcorder. Ever heard of one of them before??

There is no heavy arguement for Samsung.
But there is a heavy arguement against Motorola: Not once have they ever produced a decent phone, the software of which is atrocious, and they always break down. The designs are also boring.
I hope that helps.

Why should the 13.5mm be better? The only differences with the D900 seems to be the 3G video telephony function and a bit more memory.
I think I'll go for the D900, as it is thinner and has a 3mp camera too.

I am reading the opinions posted by leef and peoples answers to it and no-one is giving a big difference between the d6 & d9. I am interested in this phone as-wel but if there is only 3 main differences i cant see why i should spend my money on one. i had a d5 and because there are so many differences with the d6 i got it, speaker quality, mmc slot, camera, shape, xtra features in the menus, if one of the main differences with the d9 is the memory why shouldnt i just get a couple of 1g memory cards and save myself a couple of hundred pounds?

you have a valid point that the camera is protected when the phone is closed but it seems you are very easy pleased, If thats all the upgrades available to the d900 aswell as downgrades such as the amount of memory that it holds on the phone then it probably would be a good idea to wait to the next one up is released.

I have the d600 and one of the things I hate about it is if your ending a cakk an someone is calling in at the same time it will drop the new call first. Is the same true with the d900 is this a samsung issue? Also the bluetooth connects very slow on the d600 is this a problem with the d900 as well
