And please everyone who is wondering about sending a message and not being able to go straight to the phone book to select the person who they wanna send the text to YOU CAN DO THIS. I do it every single time I text.
When you text you then click send but it comes up with the place to put in the phone number. You then click options and up comes a list saying, send, send and save, phonebok ect.
I just press 3 as phonebook is option 3 or you can just click the down arrow until you get to it and up comes the phone book where you can then select who you want to send the text to.

QUESTION ABOUT BLUETOOH ANSWERED:
The reason it asked you for a pin is beacuse you can simply do what you did on the train and connect to another persons phone and send them stuff like pics and tones. The pin is for security to stop you receiveing unwanted things if you know what I mean. There is a default code which for mine was 0000 but you can change that. I have answered your question on how you put tones and stuff on your phone but if you need more help let me know.
Believe me it is so easy. I had no clue of what to do and just stuck the dongle in my pc and followed the instructions. It was very easy and quick.

SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED:
I have this phone so can tell you for certain that you CAN select the number from the phone book when sending a text. I can never remember anyones numbers and do it everytime so don't worry about that.
The front display is only designed to be on for a few seconds to save battery life and there is no way of making it stay.

In order to put MP3's and stuff on your phone you can do it how I did it. You can buy a bluetooth dongle for your make of phone from the shops or a lot cheaper on ebay. You plug it into your USB port on your computer and either load on the disc that came with the USB or some are just plug and play this loads on the settings for the USB. Then click on the icon for bluetooth that will now be on your toolbar on your pc and select find a new device. You need to make sure you have switched on bluetooth on your phone for the pc to find you. Once it has the make and model of your phone will appear on your pc and you can start sending stuff from your pc to your phone. I use a site to download MP3's but when you buy a dongle on ebay a lot come with a cd full of songs and pics and stuff

Is it true that when you are sending an SMS that you can't get the phone number from the phone book, meaning that you have to punch the phone number in, instead of clicking on someones names from the phone book?
I really want this phone but don't want it if that's the case.

Hiya, I know this may sound like a totally dumb question but I am brand new to all this Bluetooth, MP3, etc. on mobile phones and I need to know how to use them..... well I need to know how to download music from the laptop to my new E530? Do I need to buy extra leads/cables etc. for this or what? I have not got a clue lol and all this technical jargan is baffling me, I need it in Laymans terms - if you know what I mean....I have all this new high tech stuff on my phone and I don't really know how to use it e.g. I was on the train home tonight and I pressed my Bluetooth and I connected to around 5 other peoples phones/Bluetooth and then it said enter PIN....what would the PIN number be and what would happen if I would of typed in the correct PIN, would it of connected to the other peoples phone and if so why do you need to do this? Is it for sending them files etc?
I know I sound really thick but I am a beginner and I have only just learned how to use my laptop in more detail but now I can do it I find it really easy and I'm sure it will be the same with my new phone. I've never had one like this before and I love it to bit's but really, really want to learn to use it to it's full advantage as it's on PAYG and I paid top whack for it.

how is the camera because it is only 1 mega pixel and thats not very good.?? the phone looks spectacular but the fetures need to b just as good.!

Hey everyone, i live in the netherlands so my english is not so good. I like this phone and i want to buy it. Should i ?its expensive and i saw that it has a lot of disasventages like if you send a sms you can't take the number directly from the phonebook.i think about seriousky because its so expensive and i dont want to regret it after.No one of my friends has it so i can't see if i like it when its on...

Hi,
Do you know if there's any way to get the whole front display to be on all the time? Now it only shows the upper row with time etc. all the time. The notice of a missed call disappears from the front screen only after a few seconds!And what's the point of having this fancy "old school" clock in the ad-pics, if in reality you can see it on the front display for a couple of seconds!
Please tell me that there is a way to change this setting...

Why is this phone not compatible with optus zoo? The D500 is a older model and is compatible. But why isn't this compatible? It's either Optus's fault or Samsung's. Real disappointed... >:(

I have just bought this phone in pink and it's everything I thought it would be a more...it's packed full of stuff for women inc - a perfume picker, biorythm, time of the month schedule, height/weight ratio, shopping list etc.
As well as the stuff for women it incs - Bluetooth, MP3 player, camera, video, WAP, Java etc. and all the other stuff that comes with these trendy ickle phones.
I love the fact that it's small and so rounded but the keys are quite big so you can still hit the right key even when you're wearing false nails (that's for the girls) and maybe some boys lol.
Overall this phone is spot on for the girls - 11/10

For all of you who don't know if this is a good phone it IS! it is simply ADORABLE and so small and light. This phone is PERFECT for teenage girls or women! It is amazing, and belive me.
