I bought a blue tooth dongle thingy from ebay..under a tenner. I just plug that into my computer and then i can send mp3s really quickly and easily to my phone.
Not tried pictures yet...oh yes i have...i sent a background...same way...very easy.
You just need a blue tooth dongle.

Well im just about to recieve this fone and im just wondering about a few things
1.do you need a bluetooth doogle to get mp3's on to the phone if you have a laptop?
2.can you watch music video's on this phone
3.and finali how many mp3's can you have on this fone ?
if you cood answer any of my questions i wood reali appriciate it thanx alot!

i got htis phone.. it is rather cute, pretty and neat! but the problem is, i cant transfer data for this phone. i plucked in bluetooth dongle, and i activated my bluetooth. i already keyed in the passkey and both are connected... but i dunno how to transfer picture to and from the pc.. can anyone help.?? thanks! lavendar pink is purple... well the actualy pink actually dun look as great as the picture.. the sides are white instead of silver.. but it is still very pretty!

someone said before that lavender pink is purple and valentine pink is pink, which colour is it in the photo and how dark is the lavender pink? are the other colours apart from lavender avaliable yet because i cant find them online or in shops.

I want to buy this phone but am wondering whether there is anyway you can tell if you have a message on the outside screen. if you get a message but dont have your phone until alot later, is there a icon on the outside screen to tell you you have a message? thanks

unfortunately the E530 is dualband only, meaning it wont work anywhere in the Americas, only in Asia Pacific and Europe. Sorry!

Could someone please let me know if the E530 will work in the US? I've been obsessing over this phone for months until someone finally told me it won't work on the US network. I had given up on having it but then i saw it on eBay recently and people were claiming that it CAN work in the US. I even emailed the seller to ask them to confirm and received an email claiming that it could work. Are they trying to cheat people of their money or will it actually work?? Someone just set me straight before i get my hopes up and get heartbroken again!!

hey guys .. im thinking of buying this fone but overseas because it may be cheaper. I'm thinking of buying it in the Philippines because it hasn't come out yet in Australia. Im wondering if its a really good phone, because i have a samsung e700 now and the camera isn't working anymore & i dont want 2 regret buying this phone because my samsung e700 is in great condition its just that the camera is broken. I dont want to fix it cause i looked up the internet for roughly how much it would cost, and it would cost around $500 dollars to fix it, i would rather just buy a new phone. and ive seen the new samsungs and so far this one has caught my eye and the samsung D600. but this one is what i really want. So for all those of you out there who have purchased this phone, can you please tell me what you think of it personally, before i buy it for myself? By the way ! can you change the colour schemes? or is it only pink like how it is shown in the picture?.

the answers;
1) you can set the alarm on this phone and than switch it off. But you first have to set this option on active, or else it won't work.
2) in Holland there are no data kabels for this phone.
3) You can set the alarm for tasks and birthdays.

I am thinking about buying the E530. But have a few questions -
1) Will the alarm work if the phone is switched off?
2) does it have a loudspeaker function?
3) Can you set an alarm for remiders?

Beth, are you making sure your phones bluetooth is activated, it has to be activated (on) before it will work.
As for the ringtones/wallpapers etc, have you tried pressing the i/ok button when trying to change them, it brings up a whole list which you can select from and make sure you press save before you exit.

just got the fone and it is brill!! the only thing is i can't seem to download mp3's can anyone help??? other than this it is a cool fone, easy to use and takes great pics!!!!

Hi, I just got the blue version of this phone and though I do love it, I have had loads of problems so far...for one I have no ringtones, no wallpapers and no other tones, I have spoken to orange and they say they are going to sort it out but I'm still waiting. Secondly, my bluetooth doesn't seem to be working I bought a dongle but they can't seem to find each other so I can't start sending MP3's can anyone help me with this? Hopefully once all these problems are sorted it'll be great cos I do love it...please email me if you can help with the bluetooth thing thanks!

you have 90 mb space on this phonme for all your pictures, photo's and mp3's. So it depends how much of this all you have on your phone, and how much space you have left.
You can buy USBconnectors by different shops,by an internetshop are they the cheapest,
I send messages a lot with this phone and thats works really easy.
