totally hate this phone! the texting is NOT user friedly. sending a message to a bunch of people sucks. no volume control on the side of the phone is the worst! im going back to motorolla!!!!!

Watch out samsung has put a bomb in the phone no lie. I am very mad and will be suing samsung for killing my brother.

to the person who wanted to know if the usb be from the e700 will work according to CPW no they will be issuing another one, however, if you go onto the samsung web site it show the same. So if anyone out there can clarify this we would all be grateful

The password thing is just a security matter! The sender has to choose a password and then he has to tell the reciever what it is..; This way, no one else but wanted visitors can get access to your phone.. Smart thing.

wow! this was really cool! I looked into Samsungs pages, and the e720 will also get out in a white OR winter blueish color! that was cool.. looked almost like the e710, but it was more silver/white alike..

Hey, I'm fairly certain the password has been listed earlier on in this (check about two pages back) was something like 88888888 and the default pin was 0000. Does anyone know how many text (sms) messages this phone holds? Also, would it be possible to, lets hyperthetically say :D STEAL a loudspeaker from a D500 off a mate and plug it into the headport port on the side of the phone? Would it work?

jason, the password can be anything you want and you only have to enter it once however the person that you are exchanging data with must be with you, so that they can enter the same password as you! hope that helps.

I tried to send a picture from my e720 to my girlfriend's samsung D500 through bluetooth but it keeps asking me for a password. Does anyone know what that means? I'm not sure which password it's asking for

to miriam, i just ordered mine from o2 yesterday and i asked how to count my messages, they said there is a sms counter on your phone to tell you how many u sent.

There is no possibility to make the clock on the screen smaller, which is really annoying. It's a waste of space... why didn't they use the wallpaper as the background of the whole screen as motorola does? I can't understand it.

Everyone
It is really bugging me that the external display does not show missed calls. All other Samsung handsets do and it manages to show the battery strength, signal, text messages received, vibrate and time but why not missed calls. I also find it very very strange and frustrating that some of the O2 handsets have the default text setting to "predictive" and others as "ABC" and it seems that people want the opposite to what they want.

I've just downloaded the Easy Studio software from samsung. And i'm trying to upload pics in bulk to my computer, but the program keeps asking me for a password when i try to access the files in my phone. ANyone know what this is? I've tried 88888888 and 0000 and 12345678... annoying really

GOOD SELLER. i wish i waited for this phone instead of getting my 6630. Loved the e700 then,loving the e720 just as much now. The Spiderman of phones, qwick,FLASHY,looks cool, and everyone wants him.
Dont know how good it will be a climbing walls though.

How come the people who don't want predictive text get a phone set to predictive text, while the people who want to use predictive text get it set as default to the normal tap-in method? How annoying is that. Did O2 read ppls minds or something?
