Video Recording @ 352x288 (default is a lot lower though so make sure you change this else it will be blocky) Which is really good :)

It is the coolest phone to look at but what i like the most is it's small and very light. Had the D500 for way over a year (a hard phone to replace) and the E900 is even better in every way. Samsung will find it hard to replace this one.

    I recomend this phone.

I have had many samsung phones, and none of them scratch easily. IMHO they use the most scratch resistant material I've ever seen. I currently have the D600 and enjoy every feature. the E900 is a nicer design, and supports EDGE.

HI all, I have just returned the LG 'chocolate' phone to O2 after upgrading from a V3, i just could not hear the ring-tones or SMS alerts in another room, or even my noisy office. So I was looking at the E900 as a replacement, after reading all the (most) of the comments here I'm beginning to have second thoughts... So to all the E900 haters what would you recommend........

Incidently I would guess the reason you can't have vibrate and ring on at the same time is due to power concerns. powering a large colour screen, a loud speaker and a vibrator at hte same time probabily wont work with the battery.

Had this a few days now. To reference a number of different posts. A) You can use the flash as a light but selecting always on B) battery life is poor with Bluetooth on 2 days on first charge. c) The default settings on the device are really bad spend a bit of time modifying these and all will be good (camera is set on poor quality, sound is 3D which makes it sound off sounds on keypad on options if cack)

The speakerphone / mp3 playing isn't that great (at least in comparison to my Nokia 6230)

I'm haven't figured out the emails on this phone. It is a fingerprint magnet but heyho it looks cool. LCD is excellent. I have occasionally accidently hit cancel but its all to do with how you hold the phone and its not really a problem

I have had this phone for one week, and I love it. I had been waiting to find this in the U.S., and was able to get it for $100 on T-Mobile thru an independent dealer here in San Francisco. The touch sceen is gimmicky and takes some getting used to, but the lustruous black no-keys-showing standby mode makes it worth it. Definitely a guy phone. The screen is excellent. For style and functionality, I highly recommend.

I work at o2 and believe it or not, samsung didnt actually copy lg.They had this design first but released it after the lg becos they wanted the functions to work better and install a better camera. the e900 is in fact a better phone functionally.

Problem with Samung phones is that they scratch too easily.

                          1. Please advise me how to set different ringing tones when receiving a call from different cller groups.
                          2. I can not manage with the following problem: When someone's ringing me and It's not possible to speak at that time I'd like to stop the ringing tone /but not to set the silent mode definitely, only for a certain call-Nokia has this option, called "silence"/. Otherwise the telephone is quite good and has all the features you need for an everyday usage.

hey guys, firstly can i say, for god sakes ppl y the hell are u puttin all these stupid flaws in, eg. i accidently press the cancel button, OMG END OF THE WORLD just go back on it, be patient, the question e900 or choco????

my opinion, if your a girl go for the choco, aint as good but has sum girly features on it, d900- ladz get it now, not only duz it have an ace camera, its just ezier to use than the choco,

if sum 1 is gonna put a proper flaw let it b, BREAKS IF YA TOUCH IT VERY SLIGHTLY, which it duznt so there.

ACE FONE RECOMMEND IT TO ANY1, DONT GET IT IF U R IMPATIENT CUZ THATS SEEMS TO B A PROBLEM WITH EVERY1 ON THIS FORUM!!!

                                hello nocola
YES, I believe this phone is a multi-tasking phone.

you can listen to music while doing other things. but i heard that music paused during pictures are taken, and music plays again after taking pictures.

fix me if im wrong. thanx

can somebody pls explain how you have Predictive on permanently pls. I know you hold down the star key to switch to T9 but whenever I close the phone and go to write another text it's back to normal. Its driving me mad, I've tried going into options and changing the "input mode" but the same thing happens when I close the phone.haven't found

Also can somebody explain how you have it on ring & vibrate.

Why are all the ringtones so bad.

Is it possible to have a wap bookmark on the shortcut or "my menu" options ?

Had the phone a couple of days and like some features but these things are outweighing them so far.

I think I'll be returning it very soon and going back to my trusted Nokia 6230i.
Still haven't found a phone thats as easy to use, as quick to text and send and that has best shortcut options.

I might give a sony ericsson a try but still not convinced it'll be as user friendly as anokia.
