There's a video editer on the epic 4g i thought it did'nt come with one. The specs says it has a video editor. IS the 5 megapixel 3x digital zoom epic 4g better than the Evo's 8 megapixel dual FLASH ?/?????/

What good is the phone if the service provider can't provide the speed and service that meets the phone's capabilities? You can purchase a 32GB SD for the Galaxy, so that alone also boosts the Galaxy over the Iphones. Why pay 300.00 just to get a 16GB phone that has so many limitations. The Iphone was a good trend when it was in vogue. It broke the bar for cellphones, but unless Steve Jobs changes his marketing strategy and also releases a new and better cellphone in the future that is 360 different from the current Iphone, the Iphone days are numbered. The competition has met his challenge and bested Apple IMHO.

Android fan, 11 Aug 2010The Galaxy S phones will probably be on the the best phones... moreThe only problem with this Epic 4G phone...its only have 512mb internal memory...that suck to compare with the only two samsung phones: Vibrant and Captivate. If this so call Epic competing with the Iphone, at least let the phone have memory too, its true potentials. The phone is like a solider without a brain (fast, skilled, all the fire power, and a small brain).

This is what you call 'milking the cow'. Galaxy S is hot. ATT and TMobile come out with 200.00 phones on line. Amazon goes even better! Then Sprint decides to release thier phone on 8-31 (official). The online and store price will be 249.00 plus a 100.00 mail in rebate. Regardless, that's 350.00. I dispise mail in rebates regardless. Yes, it a Qwerty, has 2 cameras and a flash, but given Sprints coverage and spotty service in NY, it's just not worth it. Plus, the extra 10.00 for 4G that won't go live til 2011 which is mandatory, and the roaming charges in your Everything plan, Sprint is bending you over and saying, take it with a smile. I love this model because of the Qwerty and flash camera, but I just wont allow myself to be extorted. I'll stay with my Captivate!

The Galaxy S phones will probably be on the the best phones released in a long while. It breaks the mold and raises the bar. Motorola Droids can't compete, and the HTC Evo is close, but I'd give it to the Galaxy. So far, only ATT's Galaxy version has delivered, but, there are limitations that you don't have with Sprint and TMobile. I just test ran Sprint in anticipation of the Epic and the service was call quality was horrible in NYC, plus download speed was worse than Tmobile, ATT was best in download speed. 2.5 Mns avg..Sprint at 1.0 avg...TMob about 1.8. The longer the delays for Verizon the worse off for them. This phone is HOT!

on reading through d specs. it looks a nice smartfone...
i reall wanna buy it bt as i v come 2 know dat its cdma nt gsm...i v 2 thnk again..
look wise its really good nd its gt everythng 2 b perfect..
bt i thnk 4 d epic 4g 2 b d bestseller in india samsung needs 2 make it a gsm and shud cost under 30000rs in india...it il explode d indian mob market...
