I just bought galaxy 551. but the problem is the 'y' button on qwerty is not placed where it should be. rather it's replaced by 'z' button. i mean, according to the standard qwerty system the 'y' button is on the top of the row. but in my galaxy, the 'y' button is on the bottom row...
is that a problem?? or my set is not a real one?

Yes it's a good phone for its price. If its cheap in your country and you don't have a lot of money buy it, but else buy something better. And yes it can update to 2.3.6 but you have to flash it manually.

It is a very great mobile. But the only thing is it has a 3G option but don't have a front side camera and also there is no flash light to take photos in night timings.

Everything about this device is pretty great and an awesome budget phone, but the main problem is there is no rubber case for this device and it is really prone to scratches, because of the glossy back cover and the side cover.

guys i read some problems on i5510,just go to XDA forums it might help u just read only..my opinion on this fon is ok im used it a year no prob hardware software and i drop it manytimes.compare to new fons ryt now is no BIG deffernce coz you can play youtube,radio,has a jack 3.5,gps,3g and easy to type coz of keybord slide,it handy not bulky light waight u can put on your pocket.cons just only BATTERY just almost all ANDROID has GPS if u got problem on that JUST BUY A LAPTOP OR GET A NAPSACK PUT A CAR BATTERY ON IT for a backup power lols

Hello guyz again just go to XDA for android review it might help a lot your problems just read... this is better fon but not best Ok as u can see the specs. You can wtach youtube its has radio ..gps and the has jack 3. Something or univerasl jack lol. You can download operamini orany browsser has desktop fullsite.' Just. You can see there a lot advantage on this phone its not bulky u can put on your pket light waight easy too type coz of keyboard slide..alamos all android new phone. i551 have it! some new phone have no radio canot used on other country! For me only the battery are weak just like Almost all android fon used 3gs gprs !gps If u got problem jsut buy a laptop. Haha peace!

guys what do u expect on this phone its cheap ok im used it over a year now no problems at all base on my xperence and it can upgrade it 2.3.6 stack rom only and happy on it NOW =p..... and guys if u can upgrade on 2.3.6 much faster sofar on my xpernce LESS LAG much faster BANANA BANANA

helloo...i hav a prblm plzz hlp me.on opening the gallery..the folders are empty...but when i open the respectve file..fr exmple a video..it is playing...
what might b the prblm..??nd wat is the solution..:(

the phone is good.but restarts and crashes every now and then.starting wifi is also a problem at times.need to restart the phone to switch on wifi..battery life is bad,need to keep the charger wid me thruout.i wish the processor was a bit faster..

if u have 2g then it will vibrate but not on 3g or wifi....still fr better performance use opera mini as ur browser problem will be solved......

I love this phone..is best ever//but i don't know how to upgrade that Android OS up to 2.3 Something..i know 2.2 is something like latest but they just wrote there it can upgraded
