everything is good...but kies...its horrible....Can anyone suggest another software for connecting this phone to pc...(for accessing net)..
Also when i connect this phone to pc for accessing internet it gets heated up(after abt 20 min)..and then freezes....Then i have to open the case & take the battery.....no otherway...I cant even s/w off the phone.....whats the pblm...??

i use this mobile for more then a year its so good ,recommended. but im just looking for upgrade to Gingerbread with arabic support anyone knows how?

Was a tad disappointed with the phone for one reason..only one..found when I downloaded music to make my own notification and ringtones the ringtone volume was great but the notification volume was horrible..barely hear it on full..the programmed notification ringtones are fone for volume..other than that clitch it is a fab phone! Nice to jave touchscreen type or pullout qwerty.

I have had this phone 4 about 1 yr and I luv the size of the keys on the keyboard (in fact I'm using it to type this right now :) ) it has a very fast web browser and fast download speed the touch recognition is absoloutley
amazing and I have nothing bad at alll to say about this phone. =)

I accidently washe... moreswitch your phone off and take off the battery then put it in a sunny place for about an hour this may dry water on the screen ..
tell me if it work & Good Luck

After completing 1yr with my Galaxy 551
I accidently washed it in Washing Machine today....:(:(
Now its switching on but Screen is full of water
I can fell the reaction of touch now also but nothing is visible..
Plz Plz do tell me what to do now I have some special memories with it..
Plz??????

Hi,
I bought this phone one year ago. It was good but now just after completing 1 year the switch(From which we Switch ON/OFF screen) not working properly. Even sometimes it get switched off and On automatically.
Any idea about this?

i m using this phone from last 10 month...it think this is one amongst the most good qualities phone....its betery life,keypad,operating style and its application is realy amaging.

gud mobile phone with mostly all gud features (especially the touchscreen response is awesome as its not sure touch but capacitative touch) to suit the pocket but with few drawbacks such as-
1.poor battery back up if u use applications especially internet is on so had to download an internet on/off application so that the battery is not drained off wen i dont really want to use the internet.
2.another setback is that wen u keep the mobile on vibrating mode and if u get a call n u r answering the call n at d same time u happen to receive a sms or a delivery report of the sms which u hav sent earlier, b sure to get a vibration on ur ears (as d phone is on vibrating mode)which shud not b happening.
3.internal memory of the phone is very low to b around 170mb n sum applications get directly downloaded to internal phone memory n cannot b copied to memory card thereby warning u for low memory space.

King, 18 Jan 2012hi guys, this fon is superb,,its standby tym is 2 days.... moreI like the name galaxy on it, get good at my phone makes me think I'm getting out to the galaxy. Also I find the galaxy 1 is better than the galaxy 2 because it has a key pad good for typing and texting. Key pad and touch screen is better than just touch screen.

Phone is good except its poor battery backup.
But i never get more than 5 hrs if im browsing....!!!!!!
