for me it works fine, my first android experience and im loving it :
sound/music: superb coz in earphone only half level im hearing it very clear when on max i can't hear the world coz it's good surround
battery: last up to one whole day for me with calls,lots of txts, tinkering of apps, wifi constanly on,testing of camera video and music listening
image: so far i enjoying the display, very esy customizable screen
text experience: very sensitive qwerty, very swype like i dont know if it has swype feature but it does that
im lovin it ^_^

Excellent phone...Samsung has done a gr8 job..

[deleted post]LG Optimus One has Cyanogenmod plus plethora of custom ROMs.It has dedicated GPU and be clocked at 710MHz, .While 551 has no mod,nor GPU,nor custom kernel.LG optimus has inbuilt Divx/xvid support.551 stutters with divx videos.I am user of 551 thats but have used my friend's Op 1 .
