i click on 2g only in network option and this problem solve for my phone , i think searching network and trying too access to other network causes to use more battery energy than the normal time

Bought a samsung 551.. One major issue If you are on a call and you move away from the phone application.. then you are in trouble.. you end the call.. you cant conference.. "no option to return to call in progress" but available with other phones on 2.2.1

This phone doesn't comes with swipe. Although SAMSUNG's box has written 'including swipe'.
You have to download swipe installer and swipe from swipe's official web page and install it, since it is not available in android market.

very very very poor battery backup. doesnt even last one full day even if its fully charged in the morning. otherwise this is a very good phone in its features and style.

This phone is pure crap.
But let me be more specific!! It has a very outdated CPU and GPU, lacks the correct ammount of RAM to multitask and ROM to install stuff. The touchscreen is awfull, bad colors, bad contrast bad touch and extremely bad screen res and pixel density. The batery is a total joke providing 4 or 5 hours of continuous usage and this is due to the ridiculous 1200 that its providing.
Who would in his right mind buy this crap? Infact, who would buy this VERY EXPENSIVE crap?
Samsung is realeasing only trash to the low and mid segment of the smartphone market!!

Switch off data connection ,it saves a lot off battery.

I got this cellphone (1 week), but all cpu apps say that it has got a 600MHz(max) cpu.
Also, this phone isn't optimized for its battery. I had a Nokia E52, same cpu, but battery was very long lasting. Maybe the Android uses lot of power in idle.
