If I enter a birthday date on phonebook
does this phone automatically reminder on the right date or it need an 3rd party app?

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2011live wallpaper means???Animated wallpapers but a bit more complex.They give you flaunting rights.e.g the bulbs wallpaper glow according to the amount of battery and swing at swipe. Battery hogs considering already meager battery.Phone may slow down too considering the 600MHz proc .

Just Want to know from the experts of this forum... I am seeing a lot of complain over battry perfmnc, since it is having 1200 mAh battry.. So whether can we buy any samsung 1500 mAh battry frm market and use in this phone??? (bcos i guess all the batty r same in size).. In this way is it possbl to improve battry life? Is it supported????

I bought a 551 recently and am very happy with it.There are two issues.
The CD software is not compatible. You have to download Kies 1.5 or 2.0 to copy the phone book etc.
The phone hangs up just like after you make a call or receive one. _I need to remove the battery ans start it all over once again.
Can someone suggest a solution?

I am a nokia user,but i want to try samsung with android os,i am planning to buy a mobile next week but i really don't know whether to choose galaxy 551 or nokia c5-03...i want to know which is better??
also i want to ask some questions about galaxy 551
1.can i put my mp3 files as ring tones or not?
2.can i put picture for person on phonebook?
3.does it supports video call and if yes,how?
4.is there anyway to make it support all sound file types or formats?
Please helppppp i am gonna be crazyyy :D

Hi folks! I got my Galaxy 551 last week and was very much worried about it's battery back up which drained within a day. Going through different forums, I got to know that turning off the data package when not in use, works wonders. Yes, it's true! Now I get close to 2 days of battery life. Please also keep your screen brightness to the minimum. The battery consumption is more for the Idle Status of this phone (Display). Set it to auto lock after 15 seconds. Data sync (emails, facebook etc) can be switched off when not in use. Again, Wi-fi and GPS can be turned on only when required. These small things can make your phone's standby time considerably longer. Yes, one last thing. Download Opera as your browser. The default browser is a bit slow at times. You get it free from the Android market. Get these things going and enjoy your android machine!!!!

hay dont just buy this fone if you are a movie bouf as its camera gives a recording cabiblity of @15 campared to nokias other phones which have a minimum of @30 and the main problem of tnis fone is that it is a smartphone without a flash lite nor office suit...
