hi,
i am using this and really liked it.the only thing that concerns me is battery life since i use both music and internet,battery couldn't b gud enough.
i hav a QUESTION, i hav stored sum of my apps on memroy card n wen i switch off n on it...the apps cant b seen in applications..i hav 2 search dem..dey e in my phone but i couldn't see dem direcly.i hav 2 serch dem....if any 1 knwa abut dis PLZ PLZ help me out

metacom, 09 Feb 2011Hi Mr Digin what is the number of days that the battery wo... moreHey metacom.. if u msg a lot then I don't tink battery can cross more than a day.. if u charge overnight and use it a lot then u will have to charge it again in the night.. u really can't help it.. battery backup is certainly not great in this phone.. but one full day usage is pretty decent.. I hope I answered ur question..

Bought this for 11,900 in Visakhapatnam. Been a week so far and he's my take.
Pro's:
-Capacitive Touch Screen is Excellent
-Android lives up to the hype
-Qwerty Slider makes emailing a breeze
-Voice Quality Excellent
-Speaker Output Excellent
-Cell Signal Reception Excellent
Cons:
-Build Finish, Gloss Cover attracts scrathes and smudges.
-Processor isn't up to job multitasking in Android. Many crashes happen just scrolling between desktops.
-No Answer Key(have to slide to unlock to answer)
-No native Divx/Xvid and the alternative free players from Android market either lag or are crash prone.
BIGGEST CON IS HOWEVER THE BATTERY LIFE. Count yourself lucky to make it past a Day on a charge. Smartphones especially Androids needs battery rated above 1500.
Otherwise it's been a fun experience entering the world of Android.

yes friends it has several drawbacks such as the speed of the 3g platform is very much less than the specifications shown..... such as HSDPA7.2mbps but in practice it is not exceeding beyond 20kbps... and there is no conversion option in calci from rad to degree mode.

i seem to have a problem with this phone.
when the battery gets low, the phone automatically restarts when either i close or open the slide, anyone having the same issue?

I was planing to buy this mobile phone for my ... moredear wendy...
as u probably know, 3g network drains battery much more than other 2g network.. but since your dad is very much into texting and checking emails, i strongly recommend this mobile. considering his usage i feel u can get about a day of battery usage as 3g consumes more battery.. but i'm sure one day battery backup is pretty decent. and this mobile is perfect for people who likes a solid keypad for typing.. i hope i answered ur query..

I was planing to buy this mobile phone for my dad as he does loads of texting and calls and checking email (3G would be on most of the day and off during the night) but will not use the music,games and internet browsing option.I would be grateful if you could gve me an approximation about the number of days that the battery would hold???Looking forward to hear from u
