Hey whay ab... moreScreen resolution is 240 x 400 pxl. It is less than LG Optimus One which has 320 x 480 pxl resolution. Optimus' fontation and icons on the screen is smoother and sharper than Galaxy. But Galaxy's screen is brighter and more colorful.
Yes, battery is quite weak. It lasts for less than 12 hrs if you actively keep on using it for browsing, music, and making several calls during that period.
The screen is very responsive and sensitive. It responds even your slightest touch.

Would like your opinion guys. I'm buying a phone tomorrow and it's done to two, either LG Optimus One or this phone.
Which one should I pick.

Hey guys.
Just bought this phone 3 days ago and I have to say that I'm soooo pleased with the performance so far. FroYo is a great choice, the touchscreen is very responsive, the colour and brightness is good, qwerty slide is very very comfortable even for those fat-fingered guys, the speaker is, well, not so bad.
1 thing that I do not like very much is just the plastic cover. But it's just that. As for the lack of document viewer.... Come on, this phone comes with Android 2.2, everything else that you need is on the Android Market! I just had to spent 2 mints to download document viewer.
I've been a huge fan of Samsung phones since I laid my hands on my very first Samsung phone 8 years ago. Samsung always provides everything I need from a phone, and their price is reasonable. Changed to Nokia once, and I was very displeased with Symbian OS. Symbian hangs too often.
Never try LG though.

Hi all,
I have recently bought this mobile in Hyderabad and its working gr8.Android is a very powerful OS for mobiles and its performance is very gud.
Somehow i could get only a white color in this mobile in hyderabad.
the problems i have are
1) the headset is not so gud..as my voice is audible to the receiver only if the headset call answer button is very close to my mouth.. and i was told any 3.5mm headset could be used. but when i tried nokia 5800 headset , nothing was audible.
2) No flash for camera..
Otherwise this smart phone is a revolution at 13K price.
Every feature is gud and worth the price.

abhishek, 29 Jan 2011dont buy this cell. sometime it hangs, has very low battery... moreThe phone has never froze on me. BATTERY is quite decent i get 1.5 days witth an hour of browsing an hour of music and couple of hrs calling.

Hello everyone. I've bought this phone 2 days ago. I'm wondering everytime my phone starts and have a message of "This phone belongs to:" Question, how or where can I put my name in that message?.
2nd Question. I always clear the processing the RAM does. How can I save the battery life beside clearing the processes?

However if u want Android,it would be advisable to buy galaxy 3.Its froyo update is on the way, also it supports office document editor and DIVX/XVID videos.

This phone is same as galaxy 3 and it does not have office document viewer.Galaxy 3 will be fetting a froyo update shortly,so this phone is not a recommended buy.
Certainly a better phone than this,for hardware and core functionality,will be nokia c6-00.
