Though we're not sure about privacy, apps using data collection for targeted ads are very common, but you can disable those if just want random ads. There's also Permission manager to control apps access to your phones hardware like if don't want apps tracking your position w/ your phones GPS, or your camera and microphone; You can always deny access to those. Really depends on how you define "privacy."

Samsung has to use all its LCDs for their own phones or otherwise they will experience a huge loss. They already stopped LCD production this month.
