Bought this a few weeks ago and I am very unsatisfied.
Despite updating it whenever available and usually restarting it once a day, the phone runs hot very easily (not fully overheating, but to a point that its uncomfortable to carry around in your pockets) while doing tasks that I do not perceive as heavy usage and didn't cause similar problems in previous phones of the same price class.
This problem occurs while listening to YouTube videos (while the screen is not activated or the video is running in the background), listening to YT Music and sometimes even while using messaging apps (i.e. WhatsApp). This is happening despite minimal background services running (mostly just things like Mobile Data and GPS, as I turned off most background services/apps for testing this issue).
I'm guessing whatever leads to the heating problem, also leads to a rather quick battery drain, usually draining ~10+% per hour while using the phone for the activities outlined above.
I am probably gonna have it looked at and reply to this post if any resolution is found, which I don't think is the case. If the more expensive versions do not have this problem, putting down an additional 100-200€ is definitely worth it (depending on IF they do not have this problem).
Camera is fine for the price I guess lol

This from the A36 manual:
You either download the eSim provided by your carrier (eg. MTN, Vodafone, etc), or eSim may not be available at all depending on your carrier, region or devic model.
You may need to speak to your carrier if you bought this phone through them, if you didn't already.

I know that many people are trashing on this phone, but is it technically worth it if it was somehow CHEAPER than the A35? I got both of those options, and the 36 is somehow cheaper.

Am feeling not so happy right now because I couldn't find the esim features on mine and I bought this phone because of the esim feature. My model is A366E/DS. Someone should please help. Just don't know what to do or how to go about it. Will be glad if someone helps.

Any real world experience with A36 battery ? Especially with two sim cards.
A35 had issue with 5g and battery. but A36 switched to Snapdragon chipset and they may have improved the design too ( antenna and all...) so i'm weighing.
AnTuTu perf is only around 700k, not so snappy or last for years but have to comprise somewhere.

Scam. You can get an S22 base for less than the cost of this phone, and it has better Geekbench ratings. The S22 has much powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Lol
