I missed this phone by two years! Damn. It was my dream phone back in 2017, but my budget was low, and now as I can afford it (even pinpack) it's not available anywhere...
Samsung should really consider another with same size, its so small and pocketable, I love that aspect.
I'm currently using one of its predecessors, the A5 (2016), and I wish I could somehow get my hands on this one...

Samsung should upgrade it to pie then it would be great ..and leading over iPhone in terms of software updation period.

If there is an a3 2020 version I would definitely buy it. Performance marvellous. Budget phone with many more marvellous features. Great buy.

I have been using this phone for almost 3 years now ..this is best phone for the user who prefer small and portable phone ..i advice samsung to deliver a3 2020 with big memory and battery capacity at the same shape and size of the old a3 ...

You can integrate update app system,.. And you can use app2sd to link your app, data, obb, and cache to your SD card..

On the other hand i'm interested in A71 as replacement.. but the only drawback i dislike so much on the A71 is the plastic body.. i can't believe what Samsung did.. A3 2017 is made full metal glass.. while this A71 costs almost as S10 and is plastic alike.. why they did this i have no clue

I've been pleased with this phone, small enough to fit in a pocket and good battery life. However, recently the 16 GB of memory is proving to be a problem and I have had to remove apps. Putting apps on an SDXC card doesn't work that well, because every time they get updated, the app gets put back on the main memory. And either this lack of memory or some of the apps are causing battery issues. So time now to look for a replacement. I don't want a larger phone, but I guess it allows a bigger battery, so looking at an A71 to replace this.

That phone is the best midranger, compared to the 2020 A-series. New A-series are useless crap made to work not more than a year. A3 2017 was one of the last reliable samsung phones. I hope one day samsung will start producing useful and practical phones again.

I can honestly just say good things about this phone.
Build quality is on another level. It feels like a 1000 euros phone in hand, it is best looking compact phone ever.
Its fluid, have tons of premium features (water and dust resistent, nfc, samsung pay, amoled display, 4g+ network speeds...) its actually still pretty fast and fluid. Selfie cam is awesome, rear camera is good but not perfect. But it is good for daily usage. Battery life is good and because its small battery, it charges up fast. Storage is only problem but you can put microsd card and you solved that also.
Would recomend in 2020 for people who like compact phones!
