Jassi, 11 May 2016Hii.. Got a 200+ mb software update few days back, May 2016... moreI do not have Samsung Galaxy A5 yet but looking at all the good reviews and pictures I might buy it for my next Birthday.
I think it is so cool and it's camera must be really good. 13MP!! Front camera 5MP!!! It also can have a 4G wi-fi connections...

Hii.. Got a 200+ mb software update few days back, May 2016 in India for my A5. But downloading on wi fi is very slow and it doesnt complete. (my net connection is good bcoz any other download gets vry gud speed and very less time). But this update when reaches at around 70% after taking huge 7-8 hrs...then comes some error like this- SOFTWARE UPDATE ERROR CONNECTION OR SERVER PROBLEM. 3 times i have tried but in vain. Plz anyone help how to get my phone updated? Thanks.

mk, 26 Apr 2016I think it depends on how the user use the smartphone that ... moreIts 100% original it came from a legit Samsung Store. I have the samsung sticker and samsung warranty on my phone's box. But unfortunately we bought it outside our country.
Going back there would cost a lot. I use my phone properly, and I dont have any games installed at all. I clean my RAM and application cache or junk occasionally. No heavy usage occurred, no over charging, no water defect or whatever. I think its software problem.

Nazid, 07 May 2016it will get marshmallow update in the future or not??I don't think it will get marshmallow update..I think its only get for the A5(2016) version

My A5 screen light is always on even wen locked... I have tried to stop it but to no avail...

After the latest update released in March 2016,I have been facing severe lags in the battery. The battery drains very fast and takes almost 3.1/2 hr to get fully charged. Earlier it used to get charged in 90mins

A5 is nice phone but the battery should have been 2500 mah instead of 2300 mah.

santosh, 03 May 2016I had purchased Samsung Galaxy A5 but since then I have pr... moreI think its overheat because you use it at the same time using internet or playing heavy games while its charging or open other apps. Its not recommended. It will be better if you let it charge without using it or turn off the A5 while charging. I am typically charge my A5 while it is turn off.

Samsung J7 is only 1.5gb ram and samsung A5 is 2gb....J7 is only bigger in size but in quality and performance A5 is better

I had purchased Samsung Galaxy A5 but since then I have problem with handset is that he is overheat while charging that's why I feel that I have done big mistake by purchasing Samsung A5.....
