I just bought my Samsung Galaxy A50 a month ago. Yesterday, it just suddenly gave an error saying that there is a file that is corrupted. It asked me to reboot the system. So I did. After that, it won't turn on anymore. It won't even charge. I already tried all the tutorial to do soft and hard reset, but with no success. It is also not charging anymore. I never dropped this phone. There is also no water defect as this phone was never exposed to extreme cold environment. This was also not exposed to extreme hot temperature. Your comments will certainly help me.

Been considering getting the A50, and I can't understand why everyone is saying the battery drains quickly. I've watched multiple videos where the phone has been tested playing PUBG, using instagram, youtube and streaming music all after each other and the battery only died after 7 and and a half hours even though the phone was in continuous use. So then regular usage shouldn't drain the battery as fast as what people are claiming. Is it really true? or are people just trying to badmouth the phone for no reason?

Nah A7 2017 is outdated, A50 has no problems some people like to mess around and write fake stuffs.
Fingerprint scanner is not that slow,also an update was released to fix.

HKNY, 21 May 2019A50 is the better one overall. It has the biggest battery (... more I think ill buy a7 over honor play and a50 because google pulled its license from huawei and many people says a50 fingerprint is slow, battery drains faster, heats alot.

I am using this for a week. People do talk about overheating issue. Most phone has this issue. and A50 doesn't overheat too much like everyone talking.

Have been using this phone for a month, it's pretty good. Fingerprint scanner is a little slow but after the recent updates this has improved but is still slower than competitors. The phone is beautiful, at least my black version. Battery lasts me a good day. Only complaint is that you cant use bokeh effect for selfie nor rear cam in snapchat yet, they should add it soon, and that you cant use 25mp mode for the camera in snapchat.
Performance is great though i only use it for social media. This is the best phone to me in the 350€ price range.
Again, everybody keeps bitching on the fingerprint scanner but it has improved a lot. Also the face unlock works pretty good so having them both on is my recommendation.

It has the biggest battery (4000mah vs 3750mah and 3600mah), a triple camera setup which has an unique ultra-wide camera (quality isn't very good, though), a capable and efficient chipset and a SuperAMOLED screen. Exynos 9610 is a very good and efficient chipset but Honor Play has Kirin 970, the flagship chipset of last year, has a much better GPU than the other two. (G72MP12 vs G72MP3 and T830MP3) As a result, Honor Play is the better phone for gaming purposes. Where Honor Play falls behind is the screen. If you like IPS panels, this isn't a problem but Samsung phones with sAMOLED panels have considerably less energy consumption and much higher quality in dark colors. A7 2017 isn't ideal for gaming as Exynos 7880 has an outdated GPU and this may cause inconsistent gaming performance on long term. Aside from the mediocre SoC, A7 is a good phone, too. It is cheaper, still very good for multimedia purposes, social media/internet browsing and has a very good battery life. When it comes to camera, A50 has a higher-res sensor (25MP vs 16MP) than the other two but this doesn't mean higher camera quality. In fact, photos and videos take more storage as the resolution increases.

Can any A50 owners verify/ comment if the latest SAMSUNG updates/ firmware have already fixed the HEAT, battery, WIFI, camera, and finger print scanner issues please? I am waiting to buy A50 if SAMSUNG is working to fix the problems all the way. -thanks
