Actually I am looking for the resolution adjustments but sadly there is none on the A52S. I thought the store purposely adjusted the screen settings to make the more expensive devices look better, but I think the dynamic amoled is really the superior one. It is like the A52S is very good or excellent in screen quality, but the S21 FE is in another level. S21 FE is like you are looking at a window the size of the phone. The picture is like in real life.

Also the elusive headphone jack and SD card slot, the included charger and case in the box adds to the attractiveness of the A52S 5G. If There are no other Samsung devices in store to compare the A52S 5G display with then 100% I will buy it. But the problem is when I saw the screen of S21 FE, man I liked that more haha.

This is the case for me in Android 11. I don't know about Android 12.
On my Galaxy A51, it seemed to function as a normal proximity sensor. I don't know if it was the camera detecting it or what.

This in comparison to "vivid" would look more desaturated but more accurate. Did you check if those settings are the same on both phones?

Interesting. Apparently, there's no solid competition to the A52s... I am located in Norway, and going for the alternatives such as the S20FE, Edge 20 or GT Master, is not an option since 1) they are all more expensive than the A52s is and 2) they do not match the bang-for-buck that the A52s offers/gives. I've been checking at least 90 phones today, and nope, no one seems to get even close to the A52s... I am trying to find a good budget phone with solid camera (main, selfie + recording), battery life, 5G, sturdy and one that works great for everyday use. NON-gaming! Any other suggestions to a phone that can match the A52s, perhaps?

I am torn between A52s 5G and the S21 FE. I am supposed to get the A52S but the demo units, when placed side by side, shows the S21 FE's dynamic amoled to be superior. Deeper blacks and the screen looks crispier/clearer. Anybody compared them? Is Super Amoled really that different from Dynamic Amoled?

I am thinking into diving into Samsung for first time, can anyone explain how is this A52s 5G really, who had being with this model and using it ?? Or Realme 9 Pro+ gives this good challenge ?

I'm still on Android 11 and this is the only thing truly holding me back, lol.

My almost 4 months of experience: The phone is simply amazing and i love everything. After bunch of updates (even one major from Android 11 to Android 12) it works the same as the first day i took the phone out of a box.
This is simply the best Samsung phone i ever owned.

I understand this phone has no adaptive refresh rate in its display so my question is whether 60hz battery life is significantly and noticeably better than 120hz? Thanks
