Before this one I had a redmi note 5 and never happened something like that, and that phone also didn't get so much warm like this one.

                        I have this phone for 1 year, it's a good phone. The only problem that disturbs me a lot is that it's hot. And when it gets hot it lowers the brightness automaticly, I didn't see anyone taking about this lowering of brightness but it happens me always when the phone is warmer in summer or if it's getting sunlight for sometime. Probably is not possible to turn of this feature, if anyone knows something about this share it please.

I think due to the SD 778-5G (6nm) being 2 years old now compared to A54's Exynos 1380 (5 nm) - Still the comparison between these 2 cpu's are not that far-apart.

                                https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11039&idPhone2=12070

                                A52s = AnTuTu: 506432 (v9) , GeekBench: 2801 (v5.1)
                                A54 = AnTuTu: 506678 (v9) , GeekBench: 2703 (v5.1)

                                The only edge A54 has over A52s is the battery has more capacity which adds a few hours.

                                  As of late 2023, still probably one of the best phones on the market overall even though it is approaching 3 years old (if that's not an indictment of the modern phone market then I don't know what is). You can find the A52s used/refurbished in virtually new condition for approximately $300. For that you get a device that is at a rare and extremely fortuitous intersection between newer technology and legacy features. You have stuff like Android 13, 5G, a gorgeous 120hz screen, and excellent battery endurance while also getting increasingly excluded features like expandable SD card storage AND the coveted headphone jack. The form factor is also reasonable at 6.5'', as I don't want to carry around a brick. Phones any larger than this tend to be ergonomics gore.

                                  The Sony Xperia was another phone I looked at since it retains the SD slot and jack, but the older models are known to have overheating issues. The newest generation of Xperias has seemingly addressed this but Xperias are quite overpriced in general, even the older devices. The A52s is much cheaper and does not suffer from overheating.

                                  Very few phones, if any, offer as rich of a feature set at such a reasonable price point. Newer devices almost invariably cut the jack, SD slot, or both (this trend is horrible, unnecessary, and very anti-consumer, and anyone defending it has a smol brain). If given a free choice between the A52s and the newest S23+ Pro, I would...take the S23, sell it, buy the A52s and pocket the rest.
