I bought this phone while ago in 25 jan 2022 and It is a premium mid-range phone. the pros that I like is the hole punch selfie camera that shoots 4K despite in 30fps, the performance and the brightness of the display is bright enough

the cons that I don't really like is the battery drains too quickly when you go on a heavy usage like games for e.g, or video editing apps like rendering videos.

and photos when I zoomed in, there is a bit noise on the corners which seems quite the limit.

                    - It is eligible for updates until **Android 14**
                    - Samsung provides **4 years of Android OS upgrades** and **5 years of security patches**
                    - After the major OS updates, the device will receive mostly security updates for a year till Sept. 2025
                    - For 3 years, the Galaxy A52s is likely to get **monthly security patches**. On the last year, every 3-4 months.

                      I am already using Samsung S20 FE 5G (bought as new for INR 33000 on October 2021). I liked the features. So I have bought another S20 FE 5G as refurbushed from the amazon India website for INR 18500 on Dec 2023 middle. The price now ia INR 20000.

                      I like that model because it has OIS for two rear camera lense and audio enhancement.

                      A52s 5G is also available as refurbished in the amazon India website for INR 21400 (128 GB internal memory and 8 GB RAM).

Its good value and the phone has been performing better than the Samsung A33 that I bought at 1200 Myr new. Better display quality, better battery life and much better performance. I got REAL 67W charger in the box. Not a fake 67W charger like you keep repeating.

                        Btw, look out for rear plastic panel coming loose on A52, A52 5G and A52s bcos Samsung used weak adhesive. This is a common issue and have affected quite a few units in my country.

                          That means Galaxy A52s is still a good phone for 1 year, if you buy it now. 1.5 years even if you count the security updates.
                          I bought mine (as temporary solution) for 160EUR. At this price is unbeatable, for 6-12 months of usage. And I will sell it with 80EUR after that.

                          For anybody looking at sub 230EUR phones (new or second hand), this is a good option. Is better than Galaxy A53 or Galaxy A34 (which are more expensive). New phones from other brands are very bad at this price point.
                          And I don't recommend anyone to buy second hand Chinese phones.

A52s had a very good run, but sad to say - it wont get anymore OS upgrade, as Android 14 is the last. It will still get another year of OS patch updates every 2-3 months from here on.

                                  Android 14 negative :
                                  No way to disable the recycle bin in the gallery and the my files app. You can disable only in the messaging (SMS) app. I request the samsung to enable the option of 'disable recycle bin' in the above 2 apps and convert the notification colour from white (active) and grey (inactive) to blue (active) and grey (inactive).

                                  Why is everyone not talking about these here?.

                                        Updated to 14 a few days ago.
                                        Three major cons I see:

                                        A) Notifications that used to be FIXED on notification bar till android 13 also clear themselves up now on pressing clear.
                                        Eg: Close all incognito tabs - Chrome

                                        SUBJECTIVE:
                                        B) Ugly notification panel compared to previous versions
                                        C) VERY UGLY set of emojis

                                        Would appreciate if someone finds a workaround for A and C
