Back to my beloved A52s after 2 months with iphone 15 pro max. ios is awful. Keyboard is auful. So many functions is awful. Even the weather is wrong. Feeling locked and depressed, finally sold the iphone. Overall a really bad experience. Galaxies are 15 years ahead in terms of software.

General comment about android :
Google has blocked the ability to change the notification tone for SMS (messages) app suddenly. This affected all phones with android 14.
My other Samsung phones with android 12 and 13 do not have the above issue.

I had an horrible experience with this phone. Just after unboxing the phone I found that the back part of the phone was separating from the phone. Then I had to go to Samsung Care to fix it.

But the phone overall is a great phone. You can buy a cellphone glue online and do it yourself. Or take it to a cellphone repair shop and they usually charge 100-150 pesos.

I re-glued it from a local phone shop and everything going normal as of now. I will continue to use it for a long time as there isn't a money worth alternative to A52s even in 2024.

I use my phone as a smartphone and treat it with basic sense of humanity. My A52s 5G phone didn'5 face any problem till now (bought as new on Aug 2022 last week).
Still my phones with non removable batteries Samsung A9 pro 2016 and A70 didn't face any issues till now. I do agree that A9 pro 2016 appears to be slow. But thats ok. I am not like the spammers here who continuously bash a model using fake ids.

AutoFocus, 06 Sep 2024Me too have a case on, but the back panel got detached on o... moreI also keep a fan on the phone when charging so it does not get too hot. Always used fast charging. Had it since late 2021 as a daily driver. No problems. Never exposed it to complete water and always dried it off when water got on it. If the back comes off, I will probably swap the battery and make sure display cables are in place and reseal. They don't really make phones like this anymore at a good price, so I will keep it for a long time.

Hi, owner of A52s for 3 years now
My back panel popped off due to the crazy heat here in the Philippines, the weak glue couldn't handle almost 50 degree summer heat. I think the issue here is that the glue here is quite weak...
