ive had this phone for about 3 years and it works alright. its definitely a good budget phone but i have been having some dual sim issues, sometimes one of the sim cards disconnects and i have to take it out and put it back in. this phone also has some problems with overheating, if you use it for over 20 minutes while its on a flat surface it will start heating up pretty bad. in my case the heat usually comes from the top part of the phone. there is quite a bit of lag when doing basic tasks, when i use the search function in the settings app it takes atleast 3 minutes to load, i dont know if this is the case with other smartphones. the back part of the phone has started peeling off, i dont know if this is from heat but its pretty severe. the charging port has some problems but that might be because of dust. the screen is actually pretty durable, ive dropped it multiple times and it has only cracked twice and not very severely, i would call them scratches at most. the battery has started getting worse, its draining faster than when i got the phone. overall i rate the phone 8/10, mainly because of the screen durability and the fact the camera is pretty good, not with the zooming thing though, the zooming causes alot of blur unlike with the galaxy a53.

A72 is the best midrange smartphone. I hold it up to approx. 3 years. The phone condition is almost good, and I love this device. It gives me satisfactory results almost.

Market news says , Update is available for Galaxy A72 for Android 14/ Ui 6.0 from 30th November
But still there is no official update available in /for India.
Does anyone has any news or are they updating phones with 5g on priority and then will check for 4g and below ?

I am using this phone for 1.5 years now.
This phone has been exceptional even the camera is still good for 2023 standards.
Definitely one of Samsung's best.

Gonna post this since A72 deserves its praise. Bought this in December of 2021 and switched from S7 Edge since my S7 Edge gave up its life span. It counters the negative things I had in my S7 such as overheating, poor camera lens, and it drains too fast. After 2 years of using, this phone never overheated, battery is top notch surviving for more than 24 hours, and the camera is really good! If you edit photos, it will look much more of a pro cam. I never regretted to buy this phone.

Running out of power and set itself to energy saving. Meaning the updat was not correct . Does not mean its dead but needs to be recoverd to before the update. cannot help you more and wish you good luck.

Purchased somewhere around mid 2021 and this morning when I ran out of batteries suddenly I can't charge this phone and it's completely blackout now. Used this phone probably around 5-8 hours a day with probably 2-3 hours nonstop due to gaming during my spare time. Good experience and features for mid level phone until today.

This is my "Almost Two years Review ". This phone has been in my possession since December 6, 2021 and I'm going to state all the good and the bad that I have experienced.
Cons:
-5000MAH battery can only last for a little over 4 hours of use. (Gaming, watching YouTube videos, call, texting, etc)
- Now, whenever I charge this phone from 15% and below, it overheats like crazy. I mean like it gets crazy hot. I had to stop charging when it hits 50% or 60%. I let it rest for like 5 minutes and then charge it again to a 100% after it cools down.
-Picture and video quality on the front camera is still abysmal
Pros:
-Gaming experience is still great. I played Mobile legends, Call of duty, Among us, League of legends Wildrift, PUBG mobile, Roblox, Asphalt 9: legends, and Genshin Impact and none of these games had made this phone lag.
-Picture and video quality on the back cameras are still exceptional
- About eight months ago, I used to experience sluggish user interface. I had trouble connecting to WIFI. I also experienced cellular network issues but now, with all its updates, it’s quite fast and remarkable.
Overall. Even to this day, I can still say that this is a solid phone to buy.

My A72 is more than 2 years old now and working fine but after the last july 2023 software update there is a glitched on my phone and restarted it for the fist time after the update and the problem occurred after that the flight mode is in fade blue and cannot turn ioff so i lost the sim signal because of it, I send it to samsung repair center and told me that the mother board is the problem and it will cost me Php 9000 for the parts... This is the samsung model that i bought that last only for 2 years.., my samsung A51 as of now last longer than my A72.
