Have been using the a8 for 5 months and now I am also using a P20. Aside from the rear camera (the P20 has something going in the camera master AI) and rear body construction, the a8 is far more superior in terms of UI, screen resolution, snappiness, keyboard input, front screen feel, front camera. Not to mention a8's dust and water proof feature and almost $170 cheaper. I think the Korean phone still has an edge overall due to their experience and quality production. Shame, samsung's S series are the only ones having OIS nowadays.

Nice look and good build quality feels royal look. But the problem is with games. If you are a gaming fan don't go for it because I'm stuck with this device which i bought without knowing specs. So gaming fans don't go for it. Otherwise best for selfie and back camera in low light also. I hoped it helped.

I'm planning to buy a new phone but with my budget, I only can afford between Samsung A8 or xiaomi mi 8 se.
Which is one better or should I just go with mi A2? I'm really confused right now 😂
