This is the best eg: of Samsung's hierarchy play. Please don't buy this phone if you want to take lots of photos.
Please read the specification properly and buy the phone. SAMSUNG IS CHEATING ITA CUSTOMERS . Many will buy this Device as it gets launched and regret later.
No OIS- that means blurry photos from rear camera @ Night, Don't Mia judge me I own a SND 821 phone with a good camera and I can vouch for the performance attainable without OIS, YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED WITH NIGHT PHOTOS AS IT WILL BE BLURRY AND YOU CAN NEVER BE A ROBOT TO KEEP YOURSELF SOO STEADY.
2. No Autofocus Selfie camera - This means you have to keep a fixed distance between camera and use to get good focus or else you won't get god photos, Don't get immersed in the dual camera it's a waste if it doesn't focus clearly.
The resolution is good and that's it's negative it will Lag after 1-2 years of heavy use, may be good for Non camera using Girls which is rare, Boys will keep hunting it's performance and this just average processing with high rendering for display will make it slow.
By that time Samsung will launch its new update and Samsung needs everybody buying the update soon.
This company lacks sincerity towards its customers and plays a hierarchy game.
If someone really wants a midranger just go for one plus or Moto why waste extra money on Samsung brand??

Hudinited, 27 Dec 2017Cheaper than a8+ yes, cheaper than a8 , I don't think so. A... moreDefinitely you'll notice a difference if your phone has a SD835. Faster day to day and performance and also, faster modem and a much better DSP.
And don't let the A8's camera specs fool you. Sure, it does have a wide aperture, but that won't equate to better performance. It won't stand a chance against the 5T's camera. 5T's camera is rated really well by all reviewers, and is almost as good as the pixel 2's camera. Meanwhile the A8 lacks any form of image stabilization (No EIS either, really Samsung?), still no 4K recording, no camera API2, and probably no proper manual mode. Even the J7 2017 has a f/1.7 camera and still was poor in low light photography, so don't let the wide aperture of the A8 get your hopes high.

Also oneplus 5T, only better thing about camera is 2nd lens but is it that good? Sd835 is better for sure, but do you see the difference in everyday usage? Hm maybe side by side but its also about 0.2 sec or less slower than sd835 in opening Facebook etc. Chinese companies have a trouble with their cameras, i used xiaomi , (few models from both, mi and redmi series) , oneplus one (best phone at the time) , meizu mx4 when it was best benchmarked device about 44k but they fall apart in camera comparisons with sony, Samsung and LG and i think it always will... I know a5 2017 cam wasn't flagship grade or even great but this one is on f/1.7 so i think it could beat 5t but we will see

I think that S7 is much better option for the price
Screen, camera, cpu,gpu.. mmmaybe A8 have better looking display 2:1, but... thats all. I will buy S7! And if S6 gets oreo like sourche sayed, than S7 even will get Android P. So.. one reason more to buy. PEASE ;)
