The sound is not very loud, but I can accept because it had waterproof. But the Samsung A9 (2016) is not waterproof but the sound is mediocre, you could not hear the ringtone in a noisy place, because the A9 ringtone volume is worse than my Z2. The A9 must be make in Korea not in China, if it is make by China it will better, because Korean tricky than Chinese.

              I have purchased this Samsung A9 from Hong Kong.

              I am using this Phone in India, working smoothly,
              Very good for 2 sim card users.
              Battery is 4000MAH but also keep in mind 6' screen so can be used for full day, but not 24 hours.

              I will also suggest A9 pro but available in very limited location worldwide.

              Samsung Must give international warranty for A series n Note series.

                    The Samsung A9 ringing phone volume just a 65.2dB, it is not so loud, it is just a minimum requirement/average.
                    Do you know my Xperia Z2 is waterproof, the ringing phone volume is 75.7dB, which is better than the A9 (65.2dB). Sometime I also can't hear my ringtone even with max volume and put in my pocket and at noisy place. So A9 ringtone volume (65.2dB) must be worse.

                          Does the Samsung A9 Pro and Samsung A9 use the same speaker? I am worry the ringtone is not clear, especially the phablet usually put in a bag. I found the A9 speaker review is just average (65.2dB):
                          "The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) broke away from its pack (which scored Below Average) and pulled in an average mark. With the right ringtone the single loudspeaker can perform quite well, but don't expect much when you play music or use it in a call."

                          Xperia C5 Ultra have very good ringtone volume (82.7dB), even my Xperia Z2 (2years phone) with waterproof feature still have 75dB for the ringtone, sometime I also can't hear my ringtone in noisy place, than how come with a 65.2dB?

                            Hai i brought a samsung a9 2016 mobile from thailand. then i'm buying mobile they said that it will also work in india. because we will unlock it and give but it is not working now what to do how to unlock please tell me please tell me and help me i'm very very much worried about it

                                    i bought my A9 at the beginning of June 2016 From Thailand and i really had fun with it but for only one month and it started going off. i have tried to restart it time and again but it still brings these funny and awkward lines before the screen turns off

                                      I was like.. really!? I already have the phone and found out it does not support google cardboard. Geomagnetic sensor is different from Gyroscope. NO GYRO.
