Unlike A Series 2016 which include the new A3-6, A5-6 and A7-6 available in the market for a decent price here in Dubai. I doubt A9 will be available anytime soon. Has A9 the Six inch phablet Phone is manufactured exclusively only for the Chinese market only has people's in China like to use mostly big phones like for example huawei Mate 7 a blockbuster phablet phone from a Chinese manufacturer and this Samsung A9 is direct competition to the new Huawei Mate 8 in Chinese market. So don't aspect the Samsung A9 to get available soon anywhere else beside China anytime soon. May be in few months after millions more A9 phones will be manufactured then only Samsung may make it available for some other markets like Eastern Europe where Samsung still rules or in some other parts of Asia only.

This is only a semi-flagship smartphone. I heard Samsung is going to release Galaxy A9 Pro with real flagship features. Maybe A series will replace the S series for good. I love this series since Galaxy Alpha.

Not worth it the price if €540 is the manufacturer price, when you add the import taxes and the carriers/dealers cut it would easily hit €600 here in Eastern Europe. I was waiting for this 6" sAMOLED but the offer of new Mate 7 for less than €340 really killed the drama for me...

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2016almost every samsung smartphone has a protruding camera..so... morenot gonna buy samsung phone then.. i dont like protruding camera, i had a lenovo phone with (very) protruding camera and the lens scratched because i didnt use phone case. i'd rather use phone that slightly thick so the camera is as flat as the back than a thin phone but protruding camera. then ppl will say just use a case to cover the camera.. so thin phone+case=think phone, still just the same.

Why doesn't samsung apply what they have done here to their high end phones for example there is no problem with their ram management here in tha a9 and a7 2016
