Android smartphone that come wih preloaded Jelly Bean will be better than we upgrade our device that use old Android OS. From my Galaxy Ace 2, I had experienced bad lag when streaming YouTube, while for example Chrome or Opera Classic is still running.

So far, it is better than Portugal Jelly Bean. I still like it. If you had installed UK Jelly Bean, share it here.

If we install jellybean manually without .pit files then the ace 2 will have 486 mb RAM in jellybean,so phone suffers from lag.
This freaking SAMSUNG has deceived us all...let us also annoy it by flooding its inbox with our comments and queries on Jellybean in ACE 2. Now all of us should contact samsung support for that. Are you ready frens???????

All jelly bean versions are full of bugs very slow and consumes RAM very much dont upgrade to jelly bean stay in stock gingerbread for stable and fast operation

toru, 01 Jun 2013Which OS Is the best for ace 2 GB or jellybean please share... moreFrom my experience using my Galaxy Ace 2 running Jelly Bean, I think stay in Gingerbread is a good choice.

                                1. Leak Jelly Bean (XXMB4)
I had tried it, it lags in many area, consumed many RAMs. Skype had notification. No problem with SMS notification.

                                2. Jelly Bean Portugal (XXMC8)
I had tried it. First time, it good, almost no complaint, but several days it became lag, messaging is slow, had ever experienced bad lag that almost can't be stopped when streaming YouTube, browsing via Chrome, and play AVP: Evolution. Consumed many RAMs. But Skype was still has notification. No problem with SMS notification.

                                3. Final Indonesia Jelly Bean (XXMD4)
Well, it goods in messaging, better performance compared to Portugal Jelly Bean. But these the lack of this firmware I think:

                                a. No notification on Skype (icon shown on the top. But, when I received IM,I can hear the sound (no notification IM that appears on the top)

                                b. I experienced bad lag again streaming YouTube yesterday (I thought that happen when the free RAM was low), bad lag too when play Dark Avengers (sometimes). The bad lag was like in Portugal Jelly Bean, almost couldn't be stopped.

                                c. Consumed RAM, say I just have 2 or 3 chattting applications that I download, the device just give me free RAM not more than 160 MB, sometimes below 110 MB. Gingerbread was better, gave me more than 200 MB free RAM.

                                d. Now, the notification for SMS not working since yesterday. All settings are alright, the delivery report is not working, only vibrate that tells me. If the vibrate is turned off, no sound, but it receives text message (there is number 1 on the message icon when I receive message). I had tried restart my device, it is still the same, no notification on the SMS. Any idea?

So, stay in Gingerbread is better. But, if there is smartphone is preloaded with Jelly Bean when it it released, that's maybe better.

Well, my review again on Jelly Bean Indonesia (I8160XXMD4).

Skype doesn't appear again in above notification, but when people send IM, you can hear it. WhatsApp, when friends send you message, it appears in notification, not pop up again.
