Has everyone from India has successfully updated to Gingerbread 2.3.6 through KIES? I have checked several times but there is no update notification for my Galaxy Ace in KIES.

Realy Superb, This is my first Android phone. I can handle this mobile easily and also PDF reader is very fast, I can access the word & excel file easily in this model..Fantastic model..

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2012i updated my phone to v2.3.5 but it keeps to restart after ... moreif the phone keeps on rebooting just swit it off and put it to recovery mode (press middle button + power button at the same time for abt 5sec ) then navigate using volume botton n do a complete wipe from the recovery n reboot...

I always use Samsung but this Galaxy ace has given me all the trouble under the sun. Get an incomming call, cuts off, check to return to main screen then it keeps on taking photos of the screen. I taken it in again today and it is the 5th time, replaced pc board, new software etc very unhappy with it. The amount of petrol driven out I could have paid in on the Galaxy S that we wanted at first. My husband also has the same and worse problems. So sorry that we both upgrade the same time to the same type of phone. So dont make the same mistake as we did.
