AnonD-12498, 20 Dec 2014Alpha is having Exynos 5430 chipset , and its Having 20 nm ... moreJust woke up, i went to bed after having unplugged my S5 from charging to 100% (data LTE on + blocking mode calls) and in same time my new Alpha was at 80% before going to sleep (data off on it + blocking mode everything) and no extra app installed, locating service disabled on both phones and since it's new, only added contacts and restored SMS from my previous phones.
I just look at both phones :
S5 was at 96% blinking for my emails (from 100%).
Alpha was 66% (from 80%).
So.

I said i was getting almost 3 days before installing whatsapp and all my spamming contacts on it. Now i'm reduced to 2 days. Not a light user but i'm not a kid to be listening to music on speaker all day long or watch all kinds of video for 2 hours on it. I almost never use Ultra Power, only if i get below 5% and the day is far from being over. Just face it, your friend has only bloated his phone then you think you get same battery life as his S5.

720 x 1280 pixels, 4.7 inches (~312 ppi pixel density) isnt litlle performanse for display of this phone?
Samsung s4 have better display from him.

3 days ? its possible only if u Are on Ultra power saving mode / Power saving mode. or u are very Light user

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2014Which one is better when it comes with battery life? S5 or alpha?I can't tell you right now, it's only the beginning and i'm waiting to receive my protections, but i doubt what the guy Karan just said before.
1-Because i know my S5 and a simple 1800mA phone isn't match for it. I was getting almost 3 days out of it for each charge (LTE On, BT On, i have a gear fit watch) before installing whatsapp.. and all that spamming messages.
2-GsmA already made a battery life test for each phone, and surprise, you get almost 50% more time with a S5.
As long as someone doesn't own both phones, he can't really know what he's talking about

Both last long same.
Alpha full charges little quicker than S5. (about 15 min.)
