Hi I am thinking of getting this phone. Now that we know it uses Gorilla Glass 4, is a screen protector necessary? I am going to buy it here in Kenya, and as of right now their are no accessories for it (i.e. cases & plastic/glass screen protectors).
Any advice is much appreciated.

It has the most elegant design of all phones at the moment and NOT only because of the aluminium frame. The design itself is very liniar and fluid, having curved lines and yet a compact look. And even though the back is still made of plastic you can easily sense the difference between Alpha and S5 plastic back (for example). It does have a leather feel when you hold it. Alpha really deserves to be called a premium phone. Samsung made a big step to a new era with Alpha.

in real life Battery is Running well.
It last long full day with moderate use
and yes its charging speed is quicker than all phones

Hii guys ,
just go to S-Voice - Settings - Than Disable "Open via the home key"
it will make your Home button Faster to go to Home screen .
This is the best phone
and it looks better than iphone 6 Really

Last week my phone died while being charged during the night. Impossible to turn it on. I was so glad all my pictures and stuff were in the memory card...I just put my card in my new phone and got everything back !
Even if Alpha is great, I would never buy a phone without a memory card.
And I need OTG too, to be sure to backup everything on a memory stick in case the memory card fails too. Backup, and even double backup, is the solution with phones as with computers...You'll thank me later.
