ifaz, 01 May 2015should i buy this phone???? No. Don't buy this. I have been using it for a month. It's really bad. It lags when you download any app. It's useless. I suggest core prime OR grand prime.

it is nice budget phone, i love it nice features best price ..dont go for another comment simply go for it if you buy or thing about it.....

The reason why you said minimum 4GB internal memory and 512Ram sucks, because most of you used many apps active at the same time. Go ahead and prefer a hardcore smartphone like Note 4 or S6 later ones.
The important part is: This phone isn't capable of multitasking. It's better to use any heavy app one by one at a time.
This phone is very amazing as you think, and affordable too. Even this is a Low-graded type of phone. This is something what I'm aiming for because of a "GPU" well-built as you can play 3D game apps with ease. (Don't forget to move tons of games from internal to the SD Card every game installed) I can Play Clash of Clans, even a heavy 3D game like "Seven Knights for Kakao" in this convenient tiny console.
Best for poor-man's smartphones. I like this phone very much.

Its been four weeks now, i worked with viber, whatsapp, messenger, fb, etc. First two weeks it worked very well giving superb performance. But now its getting slow and stucks. What should I do?

Very slim and sexy phone Samsung j1, people opine that they are facilitated with less ram but if v see all feature ignoring ram then it is all cool and classic in 7000 rs what u expect

I buy this phone on 31 may.it is very nice phone and we can do video call watch live tv also.camera quality very good on front camera shows your Palm picture take automatic after 2 second

I want to buy this phone but all of you have complains about the galaxy J1. You guys say it only 512mb ram but I read the specs it says 4gb 512mb and it can take up to 128gb ext card. So what are you going on about memory is too less????

if you dont want to complain, buy the high end unit of samsung mobile like the galaxy S6, Note, etc.... this J1 is a low end entry level android phone from samsung. and stop complaning about the FB messenger, use a PC or laptop if you want to open a facebook application... dont depend too much on samsung J1... i have a samsung J1, my purpose of buying is to use it for texting and calling only because thats the way it should be... and of course, for taking pictures... i like the camera of j1, its very crisp and clear...

i have already got this phone..
But the thing i would like to comment is....
The facebook messenger woud'nt work properly to this phone... when i open the messenger it always closes even i did'nt drag it down.. it closes by itself and when there's incoming message i cannot see it properly ...
Please... solve this problem...
Make a compatible version of fb messsenger app for the Galaxy J1..
