Unless you turn on mobile data, wifi, bluetooth, etc; surf internet, music, sending photo, use camera, etc. Also if the phone screen is on all the time.
You have to go thru the phone setting to see which apps is eating the battery.
Go to setting, battery and check the apps percentage, normal is at most 5%, except Android system.
Maybe you do check-mark the Display battery percentage and monitor which apps during using cause the battery % to drop fast.

I had this phone but gave it away, it was so bad, if you set the alarm all apps also shutdown (I lost information due to this one) but 3742 seems to be a big fan.

                                Hi.

I'm in South Africa and I bought this phone last year (June 2015) after I lost an unbranded phone with similar specs. Let me tell you about the horror I've been living since this phone came in my life.

I brought a 16GB Memory card to try and make up for the VERY low internal memory available... they advertise it as if it has 4GB but the system uses 2.3GB, the factory apps take 1GB of (non-negotiable) cache and I'm suddenly left with less than 500mb. To make things very worse, the remaining 500mb is shared by all the apps I've installed, and the phone slows down as soon as there's less than 100mb free.

With the unbranded phone I had before, I had an option to move apps to SD card and use them from there (especially after easily rooting it with generic methods). But on the J1-00H, I cannot move apps to SD card. I cannot root it. I cannot even delete some of the factory apps that cause all this stress. I can only move the chache of a third of (applicable) apps, which means I free up only 100mb or something, and we all know that's not good enough.

I've used "Swiftkey" (a nice keyboard app) with all my previous android phones, but I have now started to hate it since it ALWAYS crashes on this phone. At first I complain to Swiftkey themselves but then I realized that every other app on this phone crashes from time to time, including the Android system itself. sometimes going quiet for a while and then acting as if I asked it to reboot.

When the "low battery" notification appears, the app I'm busy with automatically picks up its bags and forgets about me. I'm not joking, I've literally lost a lot of data in the form of recording, downloads, forms, etc... due to the crashing that is triggered by "low battery" notifications and sometimes even calls. Which lead me to changing my number to avoid calls (even important ones), ultimately turning me into a useless person amongst my contacts.

The only thing that works well with this phone is... ummh...... ehhh.... well, nothing... I can tell you right now that this phone is not only source of concentrated depression, but it's a grave waste of money and tears. Thinking of all the times I hit it against walls and all the times I swore at it (and I'm telling you right now that I wasn't the type of person to swear before)... This phone has changed me. The worst thing about me is that I don't really afford to buy myself a decent phone, and sometimes I think of getting an unethical job just to buy myself a different phone. Also, noone will buy this phone from me... I've tried selling it but everyone has an excuse.

I've become something I never thought I'd be; A genuinely unhappy being with motives for suicide and an unexplained anger within.

                                All of this because 4GB = 500mb and 512mb = 400mb
