This phone was a complete waste of money. Next to no storage space, touch screen stuffs up multiple times a day, freezes, internet crashes. I wish i had stayed with apple (and thats saying a lot)

It crashes because of insufficient RAM or Random Access Memory which is only 512MB and built-in system apps already consume much of it leaving only few MBs which is capable of only handling a single app at a time.. Sad to say that even facebook app cannot run smoothly because of that matter... I would only suggest that Samsung will at least improve J1 by putting more RAM to solve the problem

The phone's camera is great. The hat heads is not working and messaging app is removed from the ultra power saving mode application slot.

Stupid doesnt even have gyroscopic use that means u cant use VR (virtual reality headset)

The camera is excellent... moreyou need to get a phone booster i tried a lot rit now the supherb booster is what i am using it seems to be working and DUbattery booster freezes the phone so dont use that my sis in law had the dubattery booster and it freezed her phone and that is because she had the galaxy S3 and after i had on my j100m for 2 days it did the same thing

J1 is a very good phone the only reason people have problem with it is because they dont try to find solutions for it because complaining is much easier.. i had all named issues with my J100m after spending a lot of time finding solutions my phone works gr8 and you know every phone i look at whether it be samsung or another brand its reviews are more about how bad the phones are... which i beleive is just people who just encounter 1 problem and run back to store where it was purchased and expect the retailer should fix it no one ever sit down and try to know or explore the phone. i know that you would say the device should work and you shouldn't have to try to find solutions since you are paying you money however remember nothing is perfect but something for technology is always created as a solution thats why the playstore is there, and there are millions of apps in the playstore that fits as a solution for any fault an adroid or mobile device can have

I am very hppy with my Samsung J1. The camera is excellent (seems better than my Samsung 10" tablet camera). I found J1 was having lots of problems until I removed the facebook app. I now access fb from the web app & it works fine. Occasiinally it slows down (& doesn't recover fully when I run 360 Security app) so restarting sorts it out. I always close a bunch of apps when they show up as running, but 360 Security still says there are more - not sure why

I got my J1 from Tesco on contract on the 5 March 2016. My wife also got one on the same day. We had to return them on 18 March 2016 as they keep cutting off while you are talking on the phone. On the 26 March 2016 I had to go back to Tesco again with only my phone (wife's now working fine), the second one is now cutting off phone calls. So now I am on my third J1 and believe it or not I am going back to Tesco again tomorrow 29 March because this one is also cutting out. It is very embarrassing as today I am on he phone to my boss and it cut off he thought I had hung up on him. So tomorrow I am going to get my Fourth J1 or maybe a different phone, don't buy this phone it cause to many problems!!!!

The phone is real slow. so frustrating. The only thing good about the phone is the camera, it is clear and has fine texture.
