I just bought the Samsung J1 last week, and I have problems with it already. Its sooooo slow.... Is it because of the low RAM it has at only 4GB? I also have a 16GB memory card which does not have much apps and it still seems to go slow. I have resetted it so many times however it does not resolve my issue. My apps lag and sometimes fail to respond. Its no wonder they are so cheap. How can I solve this?

The J1 had issues from day one, from the phone now powering on initially, to freezing and the strangest thing ever the its just cuts off.
Unbelievable crazy phone......

I have had the Samsung Galaxy J1 for about 2 weeks and I hate it. It is the worst phone I have ever bought. Even simple tasks like opening the contacts list take ages & forget about snapchat, the phone can't handle apps at all. I have a nokia which is 6yrs older that loads facebook faster than then J1, so I know it's not an internet issue. I would recommend this phone for old people who have lots of time to spare, you'll need it for even basic things on this phone. The only other people who would like this phone are people with an I.Q. less than 40, ie. mentally retarded. This way the phone would be able to keep up with their thought processes (slow).
I would rate this phone a 1/10.

guys just root j1 through iroot app to solve your lag problem i also buyed j1 but that was my bad luck just root it to overcome some of the frustration

Hi.. i have J1 phone made in Veitnam by samsung. It is stuck now. i have installed software many times in it but the problem is still there. may be its a scrap for me now. if anyone have suggestion please help me.
