i returning this phone - had it for 2 days and it takes soooo long to charge and loses battery power so fastttt.........not safe to have a phone like this. very risky

The phone comes in two versions. I've got the one with a 1.2 Ghz quad core CPU and about 700 MB of Ram. Phone performs perfectly and the camera does a fine job too. Considering the price, it's a great device.

i bought it last May 2015 and I'm not really happy of choosing this phone because it's always hang ,slow and not a game friendly phone.so sad

I wish I never listen to the phone staff who gave me this J1 which been giving massive headache, the phone kept cutting off on almost every phone call, its just madness! They gave me another new handset, but the problem still existing. I have no idea what to do with this phone, I still have 22 mths to put up with! Please help!

A new user of j1 & feels bad on it...i tot samsung is better dan cherry but j1 all apps crashes all d tym,fb is so lag,chrome & internet,worst cant read message on fb ned to out dn open d messenger just to read d msg...takes more memory to run d system while it has only 512mb ram...first samsung fon & plan of mine

I got this phone after loosing my S5 mini when I was blind drunk at an Austrian beer festival.
The nice lady in the shop recommended it to me and said it had all the usual Samsung features but the processor was a "little" slower.
I shit you not, this really is the slowest phone I have ever had. I can be sitting right next to my WiFi router and it still takes a Kong time to load. Extremely frustrating.
Another problem is it can't keep up with a text, and the predictive text is awful.
Also the screen goes on a proper made one like its fuc*ed on acid or something.
So to summarise, I would advise you to drink responsibly at any Austrian beer festival so you don't lose your decent phone, and if you do get in a situation like I did, and you need a new one ASAP , pay a little bit more and get a Oh one with a quick processor. Its taken almost 15 minutes to write this fuc*ing review.

Samung realy disapointed me on this phone...i choose it cause i knew samsung have never disapointed me but on this one,i ddnt even used it two weeks but it freezes like hell...im thinkinh of selling it and try Sonny.so damn DISAPPOINTED!

This is good smartphone.i bought this phone 2mnths ago i dont face any problem with it.it works really good

This is almost unusable, it is painfully slow, it can't keep up with texting, it takes ages to do anything. You can go and make a coffee while looking up a contact, then bake a cake while it dials!!

This would have to be the worse phone I have ever had. You tap on the screen and it wont open, fb is slow to load can take up to two minutes to open and it freezes all the time. How disappointing as I have always loved Samsung previously.
