I'm updated to oreo version.after update "s secure" is permanently locked.can't unlock with password or fingerprints .it's the only problem of update.

J7 Pro Oreo 8.1 Update Changes
1. New Notification features...
i. Notification transparency on lock screen.
ii. Option to choose where notifications will be (Always on display/lock screen).
2. Option for audio/sound from selected apps to play on a seperate external device(s).
3. New App icon & badges features...
i. Check notifications (without opening app) at a glance by pressing down on home & menu screen.
ii. Option to show notifications on badge with or without numbers
iii. App badge(s) popup action with quick options by pressing down on home screen.
4. New Camera features...
i. New cool Interface
ii. Selfie features like 'wide angle' & selfie focus/blur background effect.
5. Option to snooze all notifications from status bar.

today i recenly got oreo update size is 1036 mb should i update my phone to oreo or what to stable vetsion please reply
beaucse in update section there is written before updating backup your data and written to network setting will be reset like notes will reset too

I updated my device early today and the touchpad stopped working.
Before now I had replaced the LCD myself (I'm a technician) and the screen was having acidic display afterwards, I simply used the opportunity to replace the LCD again and everything works fine now. Buttom line is, if you have replaced your LCD before and not from Samsung Care, please reconsider before updating to 8.1.

User , 22 Nov 2018Hi have they sent a fix for it ???what is your model number... moreSM J730G/DS and recently we have a second update patch, it is a November security patch - around 22 MB in size, before that we had the August 2018 security patch which fixed the rear camera’s aperture.

Somehow, Samsung phones tend to have much more issues with the screen, in particular, goes faulty (need replacement) or easily cracked (need changing the glass surface). This is the only major issue with Samsung according to my personal experience.

The Darksider, 19 Nov 2018I'm from the Philippines and I got mine last June this year... moreRecently got oreo update on j730f and installed. The problem is rear camera aperture changed to 1.9 Now both rear and front camera aperture is same. I know before update rear is 1.7 and front is 1.9

DON'T Buy this phone. not recommend
I bought it brand new, and after 8 months, appeared pink line, and display replaced. then new display showed black spot after 3 months.
I saw 3 phones with display issues. 1 with pink line 2 with black spot. many phones have this issue. it may be a factory fault of this particular display model. And it has very fast screen burning problem than other AMOLED screens.
Every brands have problems but AMOLED displays are very expensive. so replace display is not much worth if phone is older than 1 year. battery also wear out. I think, samsung should think about quality control of their AMOLED screens or they should provide replacement screens for reasonable price.
Once display faulty, this phone is worth only weight of paper

When the Oreo update came out, the rear camera's aperture changed to f/1.9 and Samsung released a patch to fix it up.

and still F1.9 after Oreo update
the front Selfie Camera is the only camera at aperture F1.7
and that is clear from The Darksider post
