ApriliaGman, 02 Oct 2023I hope this might help some of you with the reboot problem ... moreYs me too my phone has also these problems....

I hope this might help some of you with the reboot problem on the motherboard. I had the same reboot problem after upgrading to android version 12. It was so bad the phone was unusable. I think the issue lies with the thermal heat transfer pad that sits between the CPU and the aluminium heatsink. My thoughts are that it is a thin spongy material that loses it's pressure against the CPU and heatsink over time and that the extra work done running android 12 causes the CPU to over heat and shutdown continually because of the loss of pressure of this heat transfer sponge type material used. The fix for me was to replace this thermal pad with a 1mm thick silicone version that you can buy in different thicknesses from AliExpress. It's used in high heat dissipation for computer CPU's. I cut a square the same size as the CPU after removing all traces of the old foam type material and cutting the new material to the same size as the CPU. From memory it was about 12x13mm. The phone is now stable and I'm using it again as my main phone. For now the phone is working perfectly with no issues. The phone is very easy to take apart as the back case just clips on and can be removed by going around the case gently with a spudger tool being careful not to damage buttons etc. If you have this issue then you have nothing to lose trying to use this fix that worked for me. I hope this helps some of you as it's such a shame that such an awesome value for money phone is now letting so many people down. And in my opinion Samsung should be fixing this issue as it's a manufacturing fault due to this stupid thermal transfer sponge. At least that seems to be the issue from what I've found. I'm an electronics technician btw

I had it from July 2020 until April 2023. I loved it, and now that I have a Galaxy A34 I miss it a lot.

My M31 was made in Vietnam and had a motherboard failure. In Europe I cannot find some technical support to make the repair. Anyone please help me?

Anonymous, 31 Jul 2023Doesn't 5G drain the battery noticeably more than 4G?it is not 4g or 5g uses more power.
The 3300 mhz frequency uses more power than 2300 mhz, 2300 takes more power than 1800 mhz, 1800 mhz use more power than 900 mhz.
Try reading radio frequency and power usage, you will understand easily after that.
