                        According to one source, patch updates will be 2X a year after the last OS major upgrade. But the current Android 13 OS patch updates was coming in every 3-4 months per all the info from the link above . SamMobile think M52 may still receive Androd 14 later this year - I really hope so as well.

It will either be due manufacturing fault, although that would manifest itself within the first few months of the devices lifespan, after a drop, or knock or multiple knocks and drops that have weakened the particular section over time. It wouldn't be caused by a firmware update. It happening around the time of a firmware update, will most likely be simply coincidental.

                            It's already January 2024 and it did not received any security patches since August 2023, and its stuck in August 2023 until now.

                              Used 2 years normally, and then 1 green line start appearing. Almost no complain about the phone before the green line is showing.

It's already documented globally by Samsung members owners of S21+, S20+ & Ultra series, A72, A73, M52,. You can google the latest by searching Samsung + green lines on screens. This has been happening since 2021. As soon as the 1-year warranty expired - they pull this scam to all , also happens after applying the latest OS updates, and after your warranty being over. There are numerous civil suits now and in the US, there is a class-action lawsuit currently active..

                                      Very nice phone till a year. After update green line on screen appeared, no warranty. battery backup decreased in 5g and heating a lot.

                                        or ask someone else to add that rocket for u?
                                        when A73 can be updated to Android 15, so can M52.
                                        the best work is custom roms.
