I think you should get it soon, don't worry. I believe Samsung is slow though but I've definitely seen progress compared to back then.

Thus Samsung will not feel any sense of urgency. Secondly you live in the UK. Samsung has been maltreating its European customers for years{I live in Nigeria so I'm used to it). Thirdly, in the country of the blind the one-eyed man is king. Samsung is STILL the best Android OEM at providing updates. (Pixel owners will disagree). For me there's not much difference from One UI 3.1. Finally I know a guy on AT&T who never gets OTA updates and had to use Odin MONTHLY. Even when others on his network are getting them. Samsung will give it to you eventually .

Why samsung is not giving the security updates as well as Android 12 and oneUI 4.0 updates to note 10 plus.... it should be done in the month of January but already February started but until now their is no any updates even their is no security updates for January why samsung?
Now onwards i never suggest any samsung devices to anyone it's not worth to buy samsung 👎👎👎

three months WITHOUT a security patch. (Note 10+5G AND Galaxy Fold2)
I understand that Apple, owning the hardware AND software ecosystem, can turn profit from the online store that offsets ‘supporting older equipment’, but the way that the Android platform is now ‘three years’ monthly security updates, then quarterly or ‘whenever spyware is required to be updated by “powers that be”’, seems wrong...
Having two ‘present support cycle’ devices BOTH being three months without a security update; basically the same support as the 4-5 year old products, isnt far off the ‘occasional support’ I still get for the Note 7....
that security updates will happily bog down older chipsets, intentionally, to force users forward, has been a proven industry strategy, such as iNtel pulls with ‘theoretical threats’ (that NOONE will ever use) and crippling 20% speed from three x99 platform ‘high end’ builds, magically at the same time as a “new cpu” launches, that would have lost in (some) benchmarks vs my ‘larger cached’ older chip.. so cripple my cache and ‘voila’; new budget chip can match older flagship parts from three or four years ago.
the cycle is three years...
people using ‘new tech’ have money and do not ‘lawyer up’ whilst it works..
people using three plus year old tech, dont have money, and do not ‘lawyer up’.
samsung are skating a very thin “anti consumer” ice rink.
they play nice when the market is ‘not in their favour’; like when my note 4 edge magically got an update that fixed ‘half the things broken by samsung’,intentionally, when launching the new Notes lineup.
when the note 7 was causing the consumer negative press they magically fixed lots of issues in my ‘beyond life support’ phone.
companies CAN support devices (the planet cannot afford a ‘throw away society’)
but due to needing to sell hardware for their ‘partners’ all sorts of unethical/anti consumer/anti planet business methods get in the way..
double edged sword; I need present security updates for active phone with 24 hour data connection, but I also don’t want the deprecation forced on my hardware by companies turning a profit on unsustainable market growth...

Sixth Wave, 27 Jan 2022Also the edge lighting notification is not working !!!!! A... moreThe green dot you see is to let you know if an app is using your microphone. Edge lighting still works on my s10 plus. Wonder why it's not working on your phone. Strange.......? Hope you get it sorted.
