when OnePlus and Mi offer aluminum build with glass back phones at this price range not sure plastic construction is going to convince people to buy this , s pen is nice though as well as the headphone jack .

Cupcakes, 19 Jan 2020I don't have a technical knowledge regarding that section. ... moreHi there, thanks for the response. Forgive me, (I could be wrong) I think you mixing up the concept of region lock & carrier devices options.
From what I've read all Samsung carry region locks so as not to be sold as grey stock in countries other than originally intended. The Samsung's that are international versions are still region locked though international. The carrier locks I'm presuming is more a US thing which is then set for that region.
In saying all that, I re-read your comment & kind of see where your point of view is coming from... lol now I need to go check on that view.
thanks I did check the bandwidths, it was just the above that confused me.. lol
Thanks again

Anonymous , 17 Jan 2020Hopefully someone can help with a question on Region Locked... moreI don't have a technical knowledge regarding that section. But I think you can purchase the unlocked or carrier free version of the phone and use it worldwide. Or simply purchase the international version.
If you're purchasing from another country, check if the phone supports local bandwidth of your carrier.

Hopefully someone can help with a question on Region Locked Samsung devices.
I've read that all you need to do is use the device in the region purchased for 5-10 mins of local calls & then the region lock is unlocked to any world wide sim.
- is this still the case with Samsung devices?
- once the device is unlocked but reset a few months later in another country other than it was intended for, will the region lock be back?
Thanks

Interesting. But i'm not big fan of the camera bump design. Huawei Mate 30 has cool camera "bump" design

TFM, 16 Jan 2020sound output cannot beat any wireless connection Exactly, true that. Wireless connection needs to rely on software codecs, whereas audio jack is just a simple matter of doing the simple analogue-to-digital conversion. It's a no brainer, really.
