What is happening at Samsung? They're back to plastics! $650 for plastic is a waste of money.

Has Samsung hired so poor engineers who cannot install even an old feature IR Blaster in their devices so we can control our devices?
Mi is providing this feature even in low price devices.
My friend circle has stopped using Samsung devices now.

If the SoC turns out to be the Exynos 9810, unless you really need the S-Pen, it's best avoided. SoC throttles quickly and is very power hungry. Samsung in-house designed chips (Exynos) have been of rubbish quality since the Samsung S7/Note FE. If you play games a lot, look elsewhere.

I used to like the Note series. Had them from the Original Note but stopped after Note 9. Why? Not because it was a bad phone. No. It is the edge screen that put me off. For a note and people using the pen, I would have wished for a flat screen. Now Samsung is going to bring out a Note with a flat screen but with an outdated processor, a mono speaker (common Samsung, we are in 2020) and a slightly inferior camera. Still Samsung has ignored people like me who would have liked a Note with top specs like the Note 10 plus but a flat screen.

What they should have done for the note 10 lite is to have the same design as fagship note 10 but in a smaller form factor + with the cheaper glastic material with the pen, 855 processor and a headphone jack. Something better than the note 9 but less powerful than the note 10.. something in between. The note 10 lite looks freaking ugly and rushed specs.
For the Galaxy s10 lite they could have done the same... have the same overall design + 855 processor, bigger battery and the size to be bigger than the s10. with all this features, head phone jack, make it special in some way that it stands out - have matte finish color at the back instead of the gloss or a all screen display with a flip out camera like oneplus. Would have loved to see it in the s10 design.
For now both this phones look crap.. id rater wait some months and by the s10 or get the note 9 as prices have dropped. Even the one plus 7 pro looks better with the all screen and 90hrz display.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2020This is ridiculous and sadly delivered as new models withou... moreAt least for some people will work, I really don't want to throw a thousand dollars on a flagship phone that won't even sweat on my daily use.
Just ask yourself: What's been the real innovation on recent flagship phones? Pumped specs that just overprice the product.
