Anonymous, 17 Aug 2015How does you charge your spare battery anyway? No excess he... moreObviously. I charge the spent battery with a cradle charger while I'm asleep at home - with a power bank. I like using that because it turns off automatically. This keeps my batteries optimally ok without over charging. Yeah, and Samsung took out the option of charging the battery separately.

"What if you're watching a movie?" - you continue where you left off automatically.
I usually change batteries at 30% range, and so when I'm going to be "doing something important", I usually have plenty of power.

Of course you do know wireless charging, or even more for fast charging, you need to actually turn it off in order for it to work effectively. Don't take my word for it. You can get all that information from B.U. (Battery University dot com) or other sites. It's interesting they mentioned how much more fast charging contribute more stress to your batteries. It would have been nice if the NotePOINTfive have removable batteries to do this more rampantly.

So, I get all 100% power in ZERO waiting time, with just 80 seconds from turning off to boot up time. Let's just call it PRE-charging, as opposed to present charging.

I understand that removable battery is only relevant for traveler but not everyone travels, right. Its not like Samsung force you to buy Note5. Just keep your old phone. Easy. Samsung don't ask whether you like it or not either. Just buy what you want and move on. No need to show how discontent you are with the new Note. We heard enough from people like you. Samsung doesn't have to limit themselves and their engineering skills just because their fans demand this and that. Its like telling a fashion designer what you want from them and limiting their innovation and creativity to do what they want to do. Everyone wants to be a bossy consumer these day. I dislike that attitude.

i think it will flop, Note 4 is still better than Note 5

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2015How does you charge your spare battery anyway? No excess he... moreYou just can't seem to comprehend the needs of someone with a busy and unpredictable life like myself where I have to travel a lot and being tied to a charger is very impractical so I have a spare battery at home, in car and sometimes carrying it so I'm never caught short on battery charge and have to be delayed because of it.

TheNeighbor, 17 Aug 201590 minutes to fast charge? With a removable battery system ... moreHow does you charge your spare battery anyway? No excess heat? Somehow you need to charge it first to be able to use those spare battery so there is waiting time. Samsung intoduced travel charger, wireless charging pad, and battery pack for the battery. Isn't rhat more than enough method to fill our daily need. Your removing the battery is just one of the many method to keep the phone alive and not many bother to turnoff the phone and remove the back cover and take it out and put a fresh one in and close it again and turn it on again. What if you are in the middle of watching movie or something important? Why bother turning it off?I rather plug in and continue watching or doing my work. Your method is irrelevant.

They used Li-Po battery which have higher charging cycle. By the way, do you understand what charge cycle is. One charging cycle is equal as using a battety charge from 100% to 0% which make a complete cycle. People rarely let their phone die before charging. So, 500-1000 cycles is possible to last for a good 2-4 years considering that people may discharge their battery completely from 100% to 0% at least once per month.

There's always a return policy so if it doesn't meet my standards I'll return it. But to sit and knock a phone based on paper specs or wait for some biased reviews to come out is something I'm not gonna wait for.

I'll be the 1st to come in and tell the masses if the battery sucks. I'm a heavy phone user so it won't take long to figure it out.

I have a Note 4 to compare it to, so it's on!
