Better buy 4 Moto G3 with waterproof than 1 Galaxy Note 5 without waterproof. What a shame for a high end phone.

Please find if recorded audio is any good, if I compare S6,note4 rec. its worse than LG G4, not mention iphone6,808, and top lumias(1020,1520)....? Its information thats worth for me to want/drop this phone.(as samsung have not mentioned, I suspect its nothing great :( )

128gb may not be available at launch, only 32 and 64gb for now. Note 5 dual sim may have sd card slot.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2015LOL, except, business users are the last Note 5 is targeted... moreI'll be the judge on how good the battery is in a couple days. There's always a return policy so if it doesn't meet my standards I'll return it. But to sit and knock a phone based on paper specs or wait for some biased reviews to come out is something I'm not gonna wait for.

I'll be the 1st to come in and tell the masses if the battery sucks. I'm a heavy phone user so it won't take long to figure it out.

I have a Note 4 to compare it to, so it's on!

I think Samsung whanted to target another clients for the N5, different from the ones with N4,3,2,1. I owned all of them and I could say that the N5 is not on my wishlist now. I will stick to the N4 until N6 probably, if they will change de design in favour of functionality. I use S Note 1-3 hours a day, I make pictures for my bussines and I use GPS sometimes. In this condition I drain the battery until 5 pm. Luckily I have a spare battery with me all the time and I can switch them in around 30 sec with restart. So, for me, the lack of an removeble battery is a big downside. And the glass back is very slippery (I know from the S6) so you need to use a case anyway.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2015.... 500 cycles.. 1000 cycles.. Does not mean everytime you... moreHuge chunk? But the problem is, today's batteries can't last a day with heavy usage, they even struggle with half a day. So even a minimal capacity loss is actually huge. They need to make a battery lasting at least a day with any usage and having at least 1000 cycles (Without significant capacity loss).
Then, and only then non-removable batteries won't matter.

And business users don't need a good battery? That's new.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2015.... 500 cycles.. 1000 cycles.. Does not mean everytime you... morePeople use iPhones all the time. Those who are complaining the Note 5 is junk due to no removable battery or sd card, that they are power users and need this sort of thing. Power users? Like someone that needs to carry all their media with them at all times? That's not a power user, that's a media hoarder.

There's all kinds of high-end professionals that are on the road alot, travel alot that use their phones as their lifeline for all their personal and business needs and a good majority of them have iPhones. No removable battery, no sd card and they seem to manage fine without it.

But these power users... the ones who need 4k movies and flac music fikes to fill up their sd cards are demanding a bigger battery in what's known to be a business/professional phone (not a media centric phone) so they can spend their whole day watching and listening to crap on their phones all day. That's ridiculous! Go get a media centric phone that has huge batteries and sd cards then. I, as a general user and business user think the Note 5 is just fine and a good upgrade. I bet I'm the majority too.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2015.... 500 cycles.. 1000 cycles.. Does not mean everytime you... moreHmmm, that's if you really won't be using it like crazy, or NOT use wireless or fast charging. High temperature will also affect the battery's ability to hold charges. Look at the table from B.U.:

AnonD-22824, 16 Aug 2015U have not answered my question inspite of me asking u agai... moreThe word hypocrite might mean something different for you. :-p

I'm not a hypocrite, I'm just extremely sarcastic that you get confused what I'm actually saying - English being a 2nd language and all.

So, there is no 11,000 mAh power bank that charges "30 to 40" minutes...

That'd be some miraculous technology. Ultra fast charging only goes full charging of 3220mAh in about 60 minutes or so. But 11,000 mAh charging in 40 minutes just take the cake! I can imagine the stress that fast charging system can do with present lithium-ion or even lithium polymer chemical composition. Or maybe I'm wrong about it. I'd really like to know about it, please?

And besides, after all that charging.. you still have a huge huge chunk left over. To give you a good estimate.. it takes you 5 to 10 years... more then enough for you to change phones.

I never did found anyone or a major issue that people have with build in battery.
