I am using the Samsung Note 8 since September 21. I have read many reviews of this phone and most of them have criticised the positioning of the finger print sensor. I would like to differ. In my experience the finger print sensor is perfectly positioned. I am right handed and I use the clear cover for the phone. I will not say that my palms are large but they are not small either. I use the finger print sensor for payment apps and have never faced any difficulties. The IRIS scanner also works very well, and I use that for the phone security.
Overall, I love this phone.
