If you decide to buy note 9 get the 512 version other wise get the S9+

It doesnt show any signs of heating even while charging or playing games or doing both at same time. The liquid cooling copper pipe is really helpful. No signs of sudden battery drop. Everything runs smoothly.

But when I look at the price of the Note 9 vs Note 8, are we really getting that much more phone for the price difference. One of my pet-peeves is battery life - how is the batter life on the Note 8?

I just saw the battery life compared to my A7 2017 and my Moto Z Play and Note 9 is below them and still is mediocre... Samsung when are you planning to make a decent phone with the battery life lasting at least like my A7 2017 but with better processor?... with the camera I don't care, I use my phone with my G1X MKIII.

Surprise, surprise. The wife got her 128GB Note9 today, and I was tasked to set it up. As a Note8 user, I have uninspiringly found the Note9 as a slight incremental improvement to the Note8. Same feel, same core functions, same screen, same photography performance, although the increased built-in storage of 128 GB is about the only thing I would like. 512 GB is overkill.
20% increased battery would still not satisfy my usual average 6000mAh daily power consumption for devices - I would still have to charge in the middle of the day. I don't see the BT function of the S Pen as something to rave about since I've been remote controlling the camera with my Gear watch.
I've spent a better of 4 hours using the Note9, and I really just can't see spending another $999 to have slight improvements.
I'm just glad my wife would finally be able to jot notes digitally with convenience. A departure from her S7 Edge. Fantastic for people coming from the very poor half-baked specs of the Note.5.

Fed up with most of the comments over here... some are talking about the notch what is the problem at least their smartphone possess a unique style u are getting a big battery for bigger screen so whats in it? It will have one of the best battery timings...
Problems what problems every phone has little problems in it when released later they are fixed so whats the issue with that..
This big beast is only underrated otherwise one heck of a device best in its class not everyone can be satisfied peace out

Just because Samsung didn't use notch you say it is a waste of display area.
If Samsung will put notch on their phone, you will be bias for sure.
On screen navigation keys are worst that notch!
