Got to play with the Note 9 at the Samsung flagship store at UB city I. Bangalore India.
Has the s 9 + and the note 8 next to it.
Well there is no compelling reason to upgrade.
The new blue tooth stylus features are cool but that's it.
Looks like I am skipping this model.

While Huawei is pace up their phone, also Xiaomi then Samsung decide to slow down.

Samsung 2 years refresh is a mistake, no wow factor. Similar body to note 8 with S9+ camera also want to compete with iphoneX while being slower than last year model....
While note 9 will be slower than iphoneX for sure, I expect to see hugh camera upgrade but samsung decide to pack S9+ camera...... $1000? Holy Lazy.

Been using S-note series since note-2, note-5, and now still happy with note-7/FE. Even my old note-2 still perfectly usable.
I guess I'll wait for next couple year or more for upgrade.

1. The most powerful mobile phone - and the edges of the screen are scratched because of the "design solution" of the rounded edges of the glass; 2. The screen does not have a 16: 9 format so it is too close and too long to have the majority of users holding the phone vertically - why is the screen narrowed to such large dimensions? Very risky competition with the competition, really!

Why is the faster exynos processor not used for all markets?

What is wrong with Samsung. They come out with the Note 9. It is overpriced just like all their flagship phones.
They don't have a mini version of the Note 9 or S9.

Overall pretty good phone. good design, stereospeakers, good camera, gorgeous screen . It's rather pricey thought, today when we look at more competitive phones like those from xiaomi. i don't think note series is about s-pen. i own note 3 and i only got it only because it was obvious choice those day when you wanted large screen and higher specs. Another think what is putting me off is infinity display as it provides lack of privacy and it doesn't look good (same as notch). its difficult to get good cover for it.Well, should the price be better, it would be nobrainer

Its the same damn phone. They just change what's wrong with Note 8. And guess what, it won't receive Android 9 Pie til early next year. Pathetic Samsung!
